Yeah, unfortunately, they're news gold. At this rate, I say sentence them to sewn mouths for the rest of their lives.
Only if they sew their mouths together so they have to just stare and hate each other until one or both of their heads explode.

Hopefully both simultaneously.

I love the Indecision Blog's response to this:

Poorer Man's Ted Nugent, Dave Mustaine Creates New Conspiracy Theory
I know making fun of people like Ted Nugent and Dave Mustaine (of the conservative think tank Megadeth) is like shooting fish in a barrel that everyone forgot existed sometime in the '80s. Even if Dave Mustaine says something truly horrible, what is society going to take away from him that cocaine didn't take away already? Whatever it is, we're about to find out.

TMZ reports that the poorer man's Ted Nugent is an even more ridiculous person than originally thought. Here's what he said to an audience in Singapore…

"Back in my country, my president… he's trying to pass a gun ban, so he's staging all of these murders, like the 'Fast And Furious' thing down at the border… Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there… and now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple."

He continued, "I don't know where I'm gonna live if America keeps going the way it's going because it looks like it's turning into Nazi America."

I didn't think it was possible, but Dave Mustaine may be an even worse Romney surrogate than John Sununu.

First of all, gun control laws are not the reason everyone hates Nazis. There's no museum memorializing the six million guns Hitler confiscated. Second of all, congratulations on coming up with an Obama conspiracy theory that makes less sense than the birther garbage.

So, Obama's plan is to stage a bunch of shootings and then never mention gun control because it's obvious political suicide during an election year? A better conspiracy theory is that Dave Mustaine is a secret liberal working to make sure no rational conservative is ever taken seriously.

Oh Dave....

Always kinda knew that he's a bit funny in the head, but not THIS bad!

Also kinda stupid saying those things...complaining about gun control...in a country such as Singapore of all places.

Meh...still likes their music though. Still got about 10 Megadeth songs on my Ipod.

Wow, I knew Mustaine was absolutely bat **** crazy, but that puts him in a whole new arena. **** Dave Mustaine.

Mustaine is a piece of sh**. If he had any fans left on earth, I hope he loses them over this.

I'm even more amazed that Dave Mustaine has a fan base in Singapore.

Their music is phenomenal. And what's even more ironic, is his politically-driven music is amazing, but he never really pushed any specific ideas with it. He would just generalize ideas like with the songs "Peace Sells" and "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due".

I still love Megadeth's music, but I can't stand listening to that man talk outside of whatever he's singing on his records. Since day 1, he hasn't known when to shut his mouth, and it seems like he just hasn't learned, even 30+ years after being kicked out of Metallica (a band also known for opening their mouths, but at least they learned when to ****).

Are any of the victims still in the hospital? No one else died right?

I was flipping thru the digital music channels, and I rested upon the metal station. "Sweating Bullets" by Megadeth was on. I thought "oh wow, I haven't heard this in awhile." 10 seconds later I remembered the ****ing bull**** Dave Mustaine was spouting. That's it. Megadeth is ruined. Can't listen to them anymore. I'll listen to Lulu again before I listen to his crap again, I thought Lulu sucked. Dave Mustaine is just as deplorable as Ted Nugent in my eyes. Man, this sucks. I don't want to disown Megadeth, but I know now I can't hear them without hearing all of Dave's stupid **** ringing in my ears. Thanks Dave.

Survivors and the families of the Aurora shooting victims are speaking out about what they perceive is a financial aid process that has actually done more harm than good.

In an emotional press conference this afternoon, the group criticized the 7/20 Recovery Committee, an organization made up of volunteers from government and community organizations, for failing to ensure that the $5 million in donations collected for the Aurora Victim Relief Fund was disbursed to those who needed it most.

"We are here because we want the public to know what's been going on behind the scenes," said Tom Teves, who lost his son Alex in the shooting and is acting as a spokesman on behalf of the families.

According to the relatives, only $450,000 out of the estimated $5 million has so far been distributed. Out of that amount, $350,000 was funneled to the Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA), a nonprofit that sent $5,000 checks to approximately 70 victims, but failed to contact many more, Teves among them.

"I am certain that the public intended 100 percent of those donations to go to the families of victims, and to use that money to help the healing process. Unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case," added Teves.

The 18 family members who gathered before the press also decried the lack of leadership in how the remaining $4.6 million was being distributed. They demanded the committee make good on its pledge to assist those directly affected by the July 20 tragedy, which occurred when 24-year-old James Holmes burst into a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises and shot and killed 12 people and injured 58.

Great, they're literally pulling a villain move.

I love how when **** like this and Columbine happens and the families forget the ones they lost and instantly think of $$$$$$. Shameless bunch of ****s.

What happened was absolutely terrible, but why do you need money for your loss??? People die every day from all sorts of incidents and people are forced to move on without getting free money.

Not sure if this has been spoken of but last week the BBC did a documentary for this called ''The Batman Shootings'' and I just watched it on DVR...totally neglected to mention Bale turning up to the hospital and kept saying how the gunman was trying to emulate Joker, how he dyed his hair the same colour..wut?

edit - skimmed some pages, are some people/news outlets really blaming Rises for this?

I don't mind the victims getting money, especially the ones who are still recovering in the hospital from the injuries sustained in the shooting (where the money would be helpful in covering medical bills). If the money was promised to them, it should be paid.

I think 2 of the hospitals are not billing their patients from the shooting.

I hate it when things like this happens. The $$$$ from donations to the Red Cross go to the Red Cross and are used all over....I don't like that....when I give money, I want it to go to what I gave the money for.....

It looks like this is somewhat what is happening in Aurora....

Always do a background check on charities you want to donate to. If the organization doesn't publish reports on their activities or pockets most of your donation, don't bother with them. It's always depressing when I see others learn the hard way that not all charities are above a con, or even legit to begin with.

-Funeral costs
-Missing hours at work due to grieving/healing (not to mention the girlfriends/wives of the men who were murdered were potentially stay at home moms with no jobs)
-potential therapy/psychiatrist visits
-any potential future medical prescriptions/medications for life-long injuries

Like I said before, people die all the time and the victims families don't always get hand outs.

The medication I can understand but everything else I don't exactly agree with.

People donated money to the victims. Is it better that the money is going somewhere else. Is it better that someone is profiting off their loss and the charitable nature of the donors? They absolutely should stand up and make sure the money goes where it was supposed to go.

But when a charity raises money specifically for the victims of a tragedy, like this charity did, and only hands out a fraction of the money raised to the victims, like it appears this charity did, that is a reason to get mad.

They apparently raised $5 million and only gave $5000 to each of the 70 victims families. That's not right.

Does this sound like someone who forgot about who they lost?

COVA sent checks for $5,000 to each of the 70 victims' families last week, but Chantel Blunk, whose husband Jonathan Blunk was among the dead, said the money is not enough to help her deal with the trauma to her son and daughter, ages 2 and 4.

When she asked COVA to buy a plane ticket for her daughter Haley to travel from Reno, Nevada, to Denver, "They told me 'No,'" Blunk said. "They're like 'There's no more funding and we can't help you."

Haley has been suffering nightmares and the trip to where her father died might help her find "closure," Blunk said. "Begging COVA, they just told me 'No,'" she said. "She didn't say sorry or anything."
