When did you join the Hype?
May 2003 officially. But I lurked for a long time before that.
What’s your favorite forum?
Probably the Community, Misc Films when the Community's slow. And Fan Art when I want to feel inferior because of my (lack of) artistic ability.
What brought you here?
Googling news on a pre-Raimi Spider-man movie that never came to be.
What made you stay?
I remember a conversation between The Sledge (I think that was his name) and a poster who never posts here anymore by the name of Gabriel Coleman. The Sledge made some joke about calling Gabriel "Gary Coleman". Gabe flipped ****, threatened to cut off his nutsack and all sorts of other horrendous things that would probably not fly today. I thought it was a pretty funny read so I stuck around.
Who is your Hype Nemesis?
None really. It's the boring answer, but I try and get along with just about everyone, and someone I hate one day might do or say something funny the next and I just remember people have their ups and downs.

When people say FAIL to everything. or WIN even. Most memes now that i think about it. They're like inside jokes with the internet, they're funny for a little bit, and in certain situations, but you don't need to break 'em out in to every facet of conversation.

Lincoln, NE born and raised. (In the playground is where I spent most of my days)

Currently unemployed. So until I find a job I'm a writer. I also spend a lot of time on Farmville now... so that's kinda like farming right?

Old Durango that has problems getting out of the first gear now.
Dream car?
Just about any kind of muscle car.

Regrets I've had a few, but then again too few to mention.

Greatest acheivements I've had a few, but then again too few to mention. Nothing really sticks out at the moment, but i'm young, i figure i still got a couple years to make a lasting impression on the world.
High school mascot?
The Lions. But right after I graduated I heard they changed it to The Hurricanes or something. Which makes sense for a school in the Midwest.
How do you like your steak?
Medium-Rare, fo' sho'.

Procrastination. I start a lot of my sentences with "Yeah" and "Anyways".

I haven't been to many. Something I hope to change in the future. So I would have to say MC Chris. He was really cool and stayed after the show until he could meet anybody who wanted to meet him and sign anything people wanted him to sign. Ain't no party like a nerdcore-party 'cause a nerdcore-party don't stop.

I think it's interesting to talk to people about their own personal philosophies and views and I think one of the founding fathers would have an extremely interesting point of view on life and law and those in authority and things like that and believing in your views so much you're willing to go to war over them.

Nooo no no. Unfortunately I also have dogs that loved my action figures as much as I did. I had to work amputations and de-limbing in to a lot of my plots as a child.

I'm pretty much a night-owl, I can do this all night. So ask away peoples.

That probably has to do with the unemployment thing. I don't really have anything to do in the morning and I feel like i'm missing out when i go to sleep early.

Well that's the problem, a lot of my jobs were in HS when I really didn't give a **** and I doubt that I could get a good reference from most of them. And my latest job, where I actually did do a good job and I was given a lot of responsibilities, was a job where I worked in the family business which most places dont really take as a reliable reference anyways. So that's part of the problem, not a lot of work experience on paper.

Ultimately, I don't know. Somedays it's graphic design, somedays its film, somedays I want to write comics, or make music, somedays I want to do something that will more tangibly help the world.

More immediately, however, i'd be satisfied working at Barnes and Nobles or Blockbuster or something.

What comes after life. Dying before I accomplish everything I want in life. Spiders.
Do you believe that bigfoot exists?
Hmmm. Probably not Harry and the Henderson's style, or the one always posing for blurry pictures. But maybe in some sense. I'm sure there's all sorts of creatures we've yet to discover.
Do you believe that aliens exist?
Same as above answer. The universe is so gigantic, it's hard not to think that something else is out there in some form. But probably not the big greys that some poster's fear so badly.
Do you believe in ghosts?
Not really. I believe that people see things and experience "supernatural" things, but I don't believe in those things being spirits from this world passed beyond the grave.
Do you believe in the Loch Ness monster?
Hell naw, laddie. Do I look like some kinda fool?

I haven't given it a lot of thought actually. Right off the top of my head I would say it's up to the family. Sometimes in extreme cases, but it financial or health-related, i'd say yes. But as an optimistic person, I pretty much believe in hope right up to the final countdown.

I support the choice to a certain extent.
Do you support the death penalty?
Nope. Life in prison can be worse then death in my opinion.

Nope. Bible Camp doesn't count right? Kidding.

Rock, i wanna say indie, but honestly, by the time a band becomes known at all in the midwest, it's gotta be at least a little mainstream. Also saying i listen to "indie rock" feels a tit pretentious.

Joan Cusack, she pretty much ruins any movie that she's in for me. Which is sucks for me, because she like's being in a lot John Cusack movies, which i generally like. It's a conundrum.

Hmm depends on the mood. Currently it's a three-way tie between Brick, Sunshine, and Office Space.
worst movie evar?
Oh man, so many. Gamer sukt. Saw 6 sukt. I'm generally a pretty lenient reviewer, I enjoyed movies like Transformers 2 or GI Joes for what they were, so it takes a lot for me to see a movie and think that it just totally totally missed the mark.

No money, thinking about trying to take out some student loans.
Do you feel you got the most out of your education?
High School, not really. I really slacked off until my senior year. I always just got by on taking tests rather then studying. As for college, I took the year right after graduation to help my Mom launch her business, which we had to close a few months ago. So that's what I've been up to.
What career do you wish to embark on?
At the moment, film. Particularly writing.

Which 'Back to the Future' movie is your favorite?
The first one, though the other two are close to my heart as well. I mean, c'mon, hoverboards, need I say more? I even had a happy meal toy from the animated series.
Which 'Batman' movie is your favorite?
The Dark Knight, but Batman 89 before that. Batman Returns was pretty good too, but Danny DeVito scarred the crap outta me.
Which 'Star Wars' movie is your favorite?
Empire had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All Jedi had was a bunch of Muppets.
Which 'Lord of the Rings' movie is your favorite?
Two Towers, it's the one I remember the best.

Star Trek 2009, I was never really in to it before that. I only remember ever seeing Wrath of Khan and Star Trek Generations. My dad was a bigger Trekkie then I ever was.

Casino Royale. I feel like such a re-boot ****e with all these answers. I think I just need to school myself on some of the older flicks.
