4 tattoos. A Perfect Circle symbol on my right calf, cross on my left forearm (which I plan to cover up), a dagger with spiderweb behind it on my right forearm (random design I thought looked cool on my 18th bday), and the best of all, I have Willard Nation tattooed really big across my shoulder blades. I was pretty carefree with my decisions when I was younger.

I'm not a bully, meat head, fighter. I'm actually a very nice, kind, funny person who happens to enjoy doing mixed martial arts.

The only event I ever really followed was the 2010 SHH! Awards.

I know you may have mentioned this before on the Hype, but what made you want to get into shape physically? Was it a medical reason? Or just something you wanted to do?
I've always wanted to be in shape, I was always just too lazy. One day, I was standing outside at work, smoking a cigarette when I saw my reflection in a glass door and released how bad I'd let myself go. Seeing how far out my gut stuck was kind of a wake up call and made me realize that I needed to do something. Falling into the community I found at the gym I started to go to (and now manage/teach at) showed me what kind of life it was possible to have and it snowballed from there.
How often do you work out?
It depends on how busy I am. I usually do CrossFit about 2-3 times a week and jiu jitsu 3-4 times a week. Some days, I'll just get so busy that I don't get a chance to work out at all.
How much can you bench?
I haven't benched in years.
How long have you been an MMA-style fighter?
Started doing jiu jitsu a little over 3 years ago, kickboxing and mma a few months after that.

Have you or anyone you know been affected by the economic mess?
Just in the way that every one has. Nothing too noticeable, I would say. My financial troubles are mostly due to me being horrible at managing money.
How much does gasoline cost per gallon in your area?
About $3/gallon

Both. I've kind of just fallen into all the positive things I have now in my life but it's like my coach told me, "Fortune favors the brave." I consider myself so lucky to be surrounded by the people I have in my life, but if I wouldn't have those people in my life if I hadn't had the courage to just leave Nebraska and move to a town I knew absolutely nothing about on a whim.

One time, a friend and I were watching the movie 'Willard'. There's a part in the movie where his mom says to him, "I should've never named you Willard. From now on, your new name is Clark." I made a joke to my friend, "You know what, Beau? I like that. From now on, your new name is Clark." He replied, "Well in that case, your new name is Willard." After awhile, I stopped the joke and he didn't. Then everyone else heard him calling me that, so everybody started calling me Willard. Then, one day, we were sitting at another friend's house and the song 'Gangsta Nation' was playing. My friend says, "****, more like Willard Nation." and then, everybody I met in that town, I was introduced to as Willard Nation. I've actually had some pretty close friends who didn't know my real name.

I actually read somewhere that one year, there were 186 or something words misspelled in the Oxford English Dictionary.
