Are you into astrology?

I'm interested in it, but I've never had any real drive to pursue any further study. I'm content enough with being someone who only gathers casual information and remains continually impressed with every little detail I pick up.

Have you ever studied mythology?

I did when I was in school, and a few years later when I was considering writing a story that incorporated the Greek mythologies. My knowledge is extremely limited, but I've always been particularly fascinated by how diverse each culture's mythologies are. Particularly when it comes to religion and Gods, elementals, and soforth.

Could be there be anything that occurred on these boards that would make you want to leave the Hype?

I doubt it. I mean, I'd defy anyone to stay if every single member had suddenly lost their sense of humor or fun, but I really don't think that'll ever happen - the superhero/comic book medium thrives on both enough to at least guarantee that.

The only circumstance I could imagine making me want to leave are personal problems or issues, grave family troubles, or a loss. Otherwise, I think it's safe to say that I'm here for the long haul.

Based on your past relationships, you tend to go more for villains or corrupted people (IE Selina or Talia) instead of comitting with heroes like Wonder Woman or Zantana, who have clearly shown interest. Why?

There are many facets of both Diana and Zatanna that I can find myself attracted to, but the simple fact of the matter is, the darkness that surrounds my heart would never keep them close for very long. Diana has risen above adversity to become a beacon of peace and righteousness, while Zatanna has fought hard to preserve the sanctity of the magical arts. I can't see including myself in their lives to be a compliment to those goals, and the more horrific aspects of my life would only drag them down. And I care too much about them to allow that to happen.

I believe this is the best answer to your question...

Ball-park, how many minutes would it take you to develop a plan to beat Galactus?

I haven't thought about it, but... 46 minutes.

5 minutes to take a Bat-plane from Gotham to New York and storm the Marvel offices in order to gain access to the "Fantastic Four" archives, thus learning what Reed Richards did wrong in his many confrontations with the monstrosity and give me suitable scenarios for improvement.

20 minutes to have a device built by the combined efforts of a blackmailed Star Labs scientist and Dr. Fate to make sure that Galactus is entrapped in a forcefield prison chamber capable of holding a cosmic diety.

10 minutes to suit up in an armor that allows me to survive in deep space.

10 minutes to convince Clark to fly me into space and reach Galactus' exact destination, where we would arrive in seconds.

1 minute to say a badass line as Galactus is sucked into the magical chamber, where he'll spend the rest of his life feeding off of multiverses that don't belong in among the 52 known worlds.

Do you find it odd that Taco Bell now has a shrimp taco?

It's strange, but I find it far more odd that they've never delved into the idea of making their version of a Fish Taco. I mean, come on... talk about the obvious.

Which is the best Marvel live action movie?

There's alot that I have to consider when I think of the best Marvel movie, so it's a tough one to decide. But I think in the end, I have to say that the one I can watch again and again without having to ignore a particular problem here and there is Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr. simply redefined that character, for me, and I think the level of action and fun was enough to warrant it as one of the most well-made comic book movies of all time.

Which is the worst? (Of those that came out Blade-onwards)

Oh, man... Elektra. By far, that one has to be the biggest waste of time that I've watched out of all of the Marvel films. And usually, even with the films most people hate (Spider-Man 3, FF, ect), I can find a few reasons to like them whether it's just one scene or several different ones. Elektra was just dreadful on every level.

if you could go on any game show, which would it be?

"Deal or No Deal?", mainly because I think I could be a decent negotiator. Though the many beautiful women with briefcases certainly wouldn't hurt, either. :woot:

you're going on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, which member of the Hype would be your Phone-A-Friend?

It largely would depend on the subject of the question, but I think for an all-around choice, I'd choose Keyser Soze. He's introduced me to alot of different comic books, and from our talks over MSN, he seems to be quite an intelligent dude. Plus, he's Scottish, so the accent would attract more viewers.

Congrats, you've been cast on MTV's the Real World! Which 6 Hype members would you pick to live in a house with you? Why?

I think the key to making that show work is diversity, so with that in mind...

Byrd Man - Because he'd be the honest loud-mouth who speaks his mind, without being afraid of hurting anyone.

twylight - Because she'd be the take-charge female who's constantly stressed, but manages to pull it together and command respect.

Johnny Blaze - Because he'd be the chef, and one who'd know a thousand different ways to hide the taste of marijuana in a casserole.

SuperFerret - Because he'd be the quiet dude in the corner who makes friends with anything that scurries out of the wall.

Keyser Soze - The resident psychotic whose charms would get him far within the house, thus supplying him with a multitude of victims.

And, finally...

Shlee - To supply us with enough music and anime to keep the rest of the house from killing eachother, and to keep the house from becoming a sausage fest in general.

Which two Hype Members would you like to compete against in Jeopardy?

CConn, who I regularly talk to about all things comicdom, and Green Lantern, who I'm reasonably sure would do an impromptu victory dance if he beat out my score.

Which two Mods?

Probably DOG LIPS and Mister J, since they're pals, but I'll tell you who I wouldn't dare compete against - Matt and Marx. Those two are seriously a couple of brainiacs. I'd lose within the first few minutes.

Who is your Hype drunken duet partner?

Byrd Man. Didn't even have to think about that one, because we just seem to fit the idea of a drunken duet so well.

What will you sing?

I will always love you, by Whitney Houston

Because there would be just enough innuendo between the two of us to warrant it.

Crisis on Two Earths or Superman/Batman Public enemies? (DTV versions)

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. JL:COTE was good, but it felt more like a missed opportunity for the Justice League Unlimited voice cast to work off of. And the Daly/Conroy chemistry was just as good as ever.

What sitcom do you feel is underrated?

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.

What sitcom do you feel is overrated?

Friends. :o

If you could bring back one sitcom for a 'reunion special'...what would it be?

Seinfeld, definitely. Mainly because I really doubt Jerry Seinfeld will ever do anything better in his career, and Jason Alexander as George Costanza needs to be seen at least one last time. I also think it'd be interesting to see the group comment on issues and subjects of the last few years since it's been off the air, in their traditional "random conversation" dialect.

Les Stroud or Bear Grylls?

I'm not really familiar with either. I know who they both are, but I haven't really ever seen either of their shows. I will say, however, that the name "Bear Grylls" is quite... eye-catching.

have you ever posted commando?

Ha! No, I don't believe I ever have. Though I think I posted once while in a towel, just after I took a shower.

what's an obstacle you've overcome or a significant event in your life that has impacted you greatly?

My parents' divorce. I was 5 at the time, but the nature of it lead to alot of changes to my self-esteem when I was growing up, and strained my relationship with my father.

what was your favorite class in HS?

U.S History. It was definitely the class that kept me the most focused, even if I didn't do terribly great in it.

least favorite class in HS?

Algebra. To this day, math is my mortal enemy.

What kind of toothpaste do you use?

Colgate.

How many times a day do you brush your teeth?

Only once a day. Terrible, I know, but I hardly ever think about it during the evening. It's a morning routine kind of thing, with me.

What kind of cell phone do you have?

Just bought a Samsung Impression this past month. Still trying to get used to the touch-screen, but I like it otherwise.

What's your default ringtone?

I've gone through a few already, but the one I've kept the longest is Cake's "Going The Distance". I may switch to the 60's Batman theme whenever I can get it.
