I'm in Japan...

I'm Asian...

I don't speak Japanese...

Ultimately, I feel mentally slow when around Japanese people due to the fact that I can't speak their language yet they think I'm Japanese. Japanese people here are very friendly, intelligent and funny though... so they bear with me. Most of them here have a grasp of the English language but don't speak it on a day to day basis so they love using me as their practice doll. I'm non-judgemental and fairly courteous around them... unlike when I'm with my American friends.

That being said... Japanese women are gorgeous. *le drool*

Hmm... I'd have to say right now I'm loving Indian food. There are quite a few Indian restaurants out here and the curry is amazing. I'm sure I'll tire of it before the year's end... but for now I'm addicted.

Japanese women have a quality to them when I talk to them that enamors me. The ones I've talked to are so smart and funny, yet humble at the same time. That is very attractive IMO.

What is something you want to get accomplished in the next year?

Many things. Personal things that I really don't want to state here... general things like start on my graduate degree... make more Japanese friends... start speaking conversational Japanese a bit more fluently than the one to two words phrases I manage to whisper out between sake shots.

Don't you know me yet? I have zero sweet tooth. People look at me strange when I turn down desserts. *eh* I dunno.

Going on road trips. I used to love those 1 to 2 day road trips to visit relatives. I loved them... great times with my family and I didn't have to drive. I miss having zero responsibility.

I haven't watched anime in quite a while... but some of my favorites were the standard Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Neon Genesis, Ninja Scroll with a little bit of Goldenboy thrown in for humor. My (ex)wife got me into Mysterious Play. I do love the Hayao Miyazake movies... all of them. Moving pieces of art. Great films.

Oh... definitely. From my experience, Koreans base a large part of their culture on appearance. Korean women are expected to spend at least 30% of their income on appearance upkeep. Westernizing themselves through surgery is common occurence. You would very much be looked at as very attractive in their culture as an English teacher.

Not everything I say has innuendo... just most of it.

That being said... I love my boxers and t-shirts. Lounging all day in it is great.

Oh wow... now you've got me. I have so many AF1s and SB Dunks that people call me the male Imelda Marcos. I really need to sell some on eBay... a lot of them haven't even been worn yet. My favorite pair are these AF1s modeled after the Filipino flag. I don't dare wear them... they are pristine. Sad... no?
