Favorite He-Man character?
Aside from He-Man, I always liked Man-At-Arms and Orko.

Favorite Star Wars Character?
That's a tough one...I'd probably have to say Obi-wan Kenobi.

Favorite Star Trek Character?
The original series - Spock
The Next Generation - Captain Picard

Favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?
Michaelangelo! :mikey:

Do you think the psychological barrier preventing a viable 3rd party from being made will be broken anytime soon?
I really do. People are growing more and more frustrated by the two major parties and are looking for an alternative. (Or several alternatives.) It's like I said earlier though, there has to be a viable candidate to rally behind. One that can pull in a wide range of support.

I really hope you're right about that. I've been preaching to all my friends and family for years that expansion away from the Democratic/Republican parties and hype machines need to be made in order for real and meaningful change to occur in this country. We're far too stagnated for my liking.

What is your view on the 24 hour political news channels (CNN, MSNBC, FOXNews, etc)? Good or bad for the nation?
That's another thing I'm torn on. On one hand, 24 hour news cycles mean that very little can go unnoticed. On the other hand, every channel wants to be the first to get the breaking story out. (Many times with more speculation than actual fact. And that's not good at all.)

When it comes to the 'Big 3'...CNN is clearly the most 'middle of the road'. MSNBC leans left. FOX News leans right. CNN is falling behind because people have gravitated toward the spin they want to hear now that the election is over. I also don't think CNN helps themselves out any when they are constantly hyping themselves as the best (insert category here). It's a real turnoff. To be honest, I've been watching alot more of HLN since the election ended. HLN is more news, and less hype.

CNN as a network worldwide truly is the best in the business, and their ratings reflect that.

Do you have a particular favorite program or broadcaster on CNN?
Did you see Capitalism: A Love Story? If so, thoughts?

Best acting performance of this year you've seen so far?
Who should win Best Director at the Oscars?
Would you consider this a down year in films in regard to the potential pool of Oscars contenders?

What would be your dream job?
I'm not sure...something that would make me happy and good amount of money that I could retire from.

My previous question that I didn't word so well-highbrow comedy, lowbrow comedy, or both? (Annie Hall or Porky's I guess)
I'd say any comedy is good in my book. As long as it makes you laugh...we all need a good laugh sometimes.

Colts fan I see...do you feel Baltimore Colts fans were hypocrites for crying over the Colts move when they took the old Browns franchise?
I do find that pretty interesting.

Okay, the votes are in and you are the Prez... first act in office?
I think it would depend on the time that I'm sworn in. Are there any outstanding situations? For example, one of the first things Obama did after taking office was sign orders to close Gitmo. I would have done the same thing.

Do you believe chivalry is dead? Please elaborate!
I think to a large degree, it is. There are all of these social networking sites and online matchmaking sites out there now. You pretty much can find out every single detail about a person before you ever actually meet them.

I tend to agree.

Do you have a particular favorite program or broadcaster on CNN?
I would say Campbell Brown and Anderson Cooper are the best on CNN.

Did you see Capitalism: A Love Story? If so, thoughts?
I still haven't seen that yet! Was it good?

Back to movies:
Best acting performance of this year you've seen so far?
That I've seen, I'd say Johnny Depp (Public Enemies). From reviews and trailers, I'd say Sandra Bullock (Blind Side).

Who should win Best Director at the Oscars?

Would you consider this a down year in films in regard to the potential pool of Oscars contenders?
I would. There really aren't that many great performances to choose from this year.

There's no way I could narrow that one down. :funny:

How about getting on with the unbanning Wiseman?
That ship has sailed Gil...it's best to let it go.

You know what would be a cool thing.... unbanning Wiseman.

Cool, i'd say Goldeneye and Tomorrow Never Dies are his best ones.

Agreed.

:barf:

That should give you a hint.....

But eh, whatever. At least you're a Robin Williams fan.
He's definitely not everyone's cup of tea. I have seen George Carlin live...that's got to count for something too, right? :cwink:

NO WAY! NO WAY!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO WAY! :oldrazz:

I see that you said 'no way' to unbanning Wiseman. So, when are you going to go and unban Wiseman already?

Aren't you supposed to be throwing up rainbows and happiness? How is that you keep asking all these questions? :oldrazz::cwink:

You're supposed to be answering questions. Like, why are you stalling on unbanning Wiseman? And why can't you just go ahead and do that now?

Captain Picard  Favorite Next Gen episode? (Since you don't watch Firefly...commie @#$@#$ :cmad: ;))

Would you rather be crushed to death, facing upward at your approaching doom, or buzz sawed in half starting from your feet and working up to the head?

Probably 'The Best Of Both Worlds' two part episode with Picard and the Borg or the 'Sins of the Father' episode where Worf and Picard went back to his home world to confront the Klingon High Council.

Would you rather be crushed to death, facing upward at your approaching doom, or buzz sawed in half starting from your feet and working up to the head?
I think I'd rather be crushed to death facing upward. It's a heck of a lot quicker than being tortured by a buzzsaw. A freaking BUZZSAW!?!?! Really? No thank you!
