Matt :hrt:

Why am I your favorite Hype member ever?

:hrt:

Because you are Foghorn Leghorn of the Hype. ;)

Ever wonder what bakerboy is doing these days?

More often than I'd like to admit, though I'd imagine 10 to 15 years in a psychiatric institute for stalking Michelle.

Favorite cookie?

Oatmeal raisin.

Did I ever show you my collection of Marvel's SuperPro comics?

Nope.

Do you like my avatar?

Quite a bit, actually.

Five favorite older movies you'd like to see on the big screen:

The Star Wars trilogy with none of that special edition nonsense. Animal House, but only with the perfect audience that is equal parts drunk and rowdy and finally T2.

Why do you think you've got the rep as the most horrible person on this board? :hehe:

Because I am very blunt and abrasive and kind of enjoy my role as bad cop which causes me to play it up.

WWE Mod Smackdown! You vs. who, and me vs. who?

You and I, tag teaming Bakerboy and Mr. Parker. When I say it like that....eww.

Ever been to the peach state?

Nope. Well, I've flown over it. Does that count?

Ever had a Bill Murray movie marathon?

I once watched the two Ghostbusters movies back to back and then by happy coincidence Groundhog Day was on HBO so I watched that. Does three movies make up a marathon?

Is your hair really as glorious as you proclaimed the other week?

I wish. :( It is alright though.

Some video games that made you yell, curse or throw the controller?

Too many to name.

Can you dance?

Not really. :(

Excellent answer! I've read a few things on the Kennedy assassination, both pro and anti conspiracy, and I agree, there had to be another dude out there on the knoll. It's a conspiracy!!!11!!

If you haven't yet, read JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters by James Douglass. The book will change your life.

Has the moon ever hit your eye like a big pizza pie?

What really killed the dinosaurs?

Welcome to good burger, home of the good burger, can i take your order?

I'm Ron Burgundy?

Is this your homework, Larry?

Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?

Do you want me to order a pizza?

What really killed the dinosaurs?

Global warming.

Welcome to good burger, home of the good burger, can i take your order?

You may not.

I'm Ron Burgundy?

Who put a question mark on the teleprompter!?!

Is this your homework, Larry?

You'd be surprised by how many fan versions of that are on Youtube. :(

Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?

I wouldn't describe the moonlight as pale during the event in question.

Do you want me to order a pizza?

Yes, but none of that pineapple bull ****! :argh:

Are you kidding me?

Most annoying word in the English language?

What pizza toppings do you like?

Sausage and peppers (both green and banana peppers).

Are you kidding me?

:ikyn :oldrazz:

What are your Five Keys to Winning Hype Survivor?

1) Deceit. I'm not saying YOU need to get your hands dirty, players like CC and Kessel Day have won without backstabbing. BUT if you're not going to be a dirty player, you at least need an ally who will be.

2) Numbers. You need the numbers. It is that simple. You cannot win unless you have them on your side, both throughout the game and then in the jury phase.

3) Your jury argument. This is the most underrated part of the game, yet one of the most important as well. This past game just showed the impact that it had. CC should've been a shoe-in as she played a great social game and pissed off a lot less jurors. However, Byrd gave a decent argument and CC wouldn't own up to her role in certain facets of the game. I feel that her jury argument cost her the game. It can make or break you.

4) Jury selection. The true mastermind has control over who becomes their jury by assuring that less than favorable members go before the merge and jury rounds. Jewhob is particularly good at picking jurors that will vote for him.

5) Luck. In the end, no matter how good your game is, you can just have bad luck. In the first game that I won, if Knows wasn't loyal, POWdER would've eliminated me. There would've been nothing that I could have done differently. It is just how the cookie would have crumbled. Especially in the later rounds, three players can band together and take out a player who has control. There is nothing that can stop it, there may be no clues. It is just bad luck. Luck plays a big role.

Is the glass half empty or half full?

Not to turn this into a pity party, but some bad things have happened to me in life. Despite that, I'd like to think I'm still half full. I try not to think about what I've lost, but rather what I have.

Is there something you'd like to eat crow about? Maybe regarding a certain Chris Evans? :hehe:

:argh: Fine, I was wrong about Chris Evans! He made a tremendous Captain America! I was wrong about Johnston too. He made a great movie. Though I do think that Marvel needs someone with a little more depth for the sequel. But yes, I will eat crow. I was wrong about every part of Captain America, it turned out great.

Do you believe two wrongs can ever make a right?

Life isn't so black and white as wrong and right. That being said, I do believe that two actions that are perceived wrong can often lead to a preferable outcome.

I've imagined that in real life you look like Pierre Bernard. Am I close?

:funny: Not even a little bit. For one thing, I am white.

You once said my Tobias avy was the best on the Hype. Is this still true?

Unequivocally, yes.

Does humanity need to be destroyed in order to save the world?

No. In fact, I hate misanthropy. Such a hypocritical view point that overlooks all the good things people do.

If you were a mythological creature, which one would you be?

Well, I'm a Leo and I like to fly so I guess I'll go with a Griffin.

Dance Dance Revolution or Rock Band?

Guitar Hero. :oldrazz:

How do you feel about the state of the dairy industry?

Impartial. I don't drink much milk.

I took a quiz in Cosmo, does that make me a genius?

No....The term genius is selling yourself short!

Is it true that mods have a secret clubhouse like the Legion of Doom?

It is, though not nearly as nice. :(

Most annoying word in the English language?

Hmm....I'm not a fan of guesstimate. Either say estimate or guess! :argh:

Rank the MCU films to this point, and give a brief review of them (like a paragraph each)

1) Iron Man: Everything that a comic movie should be. Fun, exciting, funny, dynamic, with great characters and character development.

2) Thor: Possibly one of the most mature comic movies to date. The performances are outstanding, the plot engaging. It just works on every level.

3) Captain America: Not as sophisticated as Thor, Iron Man, or even Incredible Hulk, but a hell of a lot of fun.

4) The Incredible Hulk: While the action is great, it seems like a lot of stuff was cut and the movie can basically be summed up in the trailer.

5) Iron Man 2: I'm not one of the people who dislikes Iron Man 2, but it is basically a rehash of the first movie with everything that worked overplayed to the point of silliness.

Favorite comic book film?

Spider-Man 2, followed closely by Batman '89, Iron Man and Superman 2. I will say though, that in a year (I like to get some distance before I decide), First Class may outrank all of them.

Most overrated comic film?

The Dark Knight. Batman '89 remains the Caped Crusader's best on screen appearance.

Top 5 reasons you dislike Christopher Nolan?

Hmm, I'm not really sure that I have five reasons. I find his fans to be incredibly annoying and I think at times he is one of those directors who over thinks himself and tries to make things "complex and deep," simply for the sake of complexity and deepness, which I dislike.

Do you at all miss the Browns/Steelers rivalry being a true rivalry?

Absolutely. I was completely disappointed when Schurmer was hired because all of the progress that Holmgren made in 2010 was completely undone in that one move. I want a real coach who can build the Browns into a team that can actually compete with the Steelers. Look at how much more fulfilling the Pats/Jets rivalry has been since Rex Ryan took over the Jets and made them competitive. That rivalry pales in comparison to the Steelers/Browns which once was and could again be, the best rivalry in the NFL.

Top 5 favorite films (commit to answers!!!)?

Best movie you've seen in theater this year? Worst?

In regard to Superman 2, do you think the Salkinds were wrong in what they did to Richard Donner? Should Spider-Fan give his rant on why he thinks this is an overrated film?

Has the amount of comic films in recent years made you expect more from them? Like, would a movie of Batman 89 quality coming out today be less good in today's market?

Who do you think will win Survivor : South Pacific?

Favorite director?

Sam Raimi. Not for Spider-Man but for Army of Darkness. :funny:

Top 5 favorite films (commit to answers!!!)?

That is tough.

5) The Empire Strikes Back
4) Silence of the Lambs
3) The Naked Gun
2) My Cousin Vinny
1) Back to the Future

Best movie you've seen in theater this year? Worst?

Best would probably be Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Worst...Green Lantern.

In regard to Superman 2, do you think the Salkinds were wrong in what they did to Richard Donner? Should Spider-Fan give his rant on why he thinks this is an overrated film?

Yes to both.

Has the amount of comic films in recent years made you expect more from them? Like, would a movie of Batman 89 quality coming out today be less good in today's market?

Hmm....I tend to think that Batman 89 would still be very well received as it is a tremendous film. But yes....I remember seeing the first Spider-Man teaser, with the World Trade Center and becoming genuinely excited. Now comic movies are just par for the course, I expect a couple each year.

Who do you think will win Survivor : South Pacific?

Coach is playing a tremendous game. But I think that ultimately Albert or Sophie will reap the rewards of his game play and win.

When do you say enough is enough and quit?

Do you keep a lot of things inside that you wish people knew?

Which is best I wish or I hope and why?
