15-Year-Old Wrestling Thread is STOKED That Shawn Michaels Kicked It in the Face

Ambrose needs to promo like a maniac because without it, he kind of looks like a normal guy who works as a sales manager. Reigns doesn't have that issue.

I like when Ambrose does his little weird tics, expressions and struts. He needs to keep doing that stuff more regularly when he goes solo.

Maybe just maybe...

Royal Rumble:
-Bryan vs Orton vs Cena (Bryan wins clean)
-They keep building up Punk/HHH, and Punk is forced to enter RR #1 (maybe with HHH coming in at #30?), but Punk wins anyway.

Elimination Chamber:
-Bryan beats Orton on Raw after RR (stupid "rematch clause" they push so much now; I really want them to get rid of that **** because it drags out stories past their logical end points)
-Bryan offers Cena match at EC. Wins again.
-Punk has to go through an EC to keep his title shot at WM vs Orton, Shield, and maybe Kane or some other heel. Heels turn on each other and have miscommunications throughout, leading to Punk's survival (as opposed to Supermaning all of them).

Wrestlemania:
-Punk vs Bryan Iron Man Match (I don't care who wins)

Ambrose needs to go completely off the leash when he goers solo. I'm talking about the guy who wants to know what his opponent's blood smells like, but wussy WWE won't do it. Character's can't even hate each other anymore.

Jericho carried both titles for a while until the Undisputed title was introduced

Exactly. It's a marketing ploy until they get rid of the Big Gold. It's already been listed as a retired belt.

I'm happy they've kept both belts, but something tells me the unification will be short lived.

I'm also content with having Punk Vs. Michaels and Bryan Vs. Helmsley at Wrestlemania 30.

Yep, we'll see. I just find it odd seeing as they said during the ascension ceremony that that would be the last time you would see the two championships together. :hehe:

I just can't see the machine allowing Punk and Bryan to main event Mania for the WWE title without any of their products anywhere near.

Agreed. A special attraction match would close WrestleMania if it's Punk vs Bryan, and I don't want that.

^Interesting read about WWE's upcoming negotiations on their TV deal.

Of greater interest to me is the tidbit about the WWE network... if this thing ever gets off the ground, it could be an absolute joy for those interested in seeing old wrestling. Can you imagine the possibilities? With the library they already own, they could dedicate almost every night of the week to re-runs of classic wrestling - Mid South, World Class, NWA/WCW, ECW... just wow. It'd be awesome to see them in episodic order if they really do have all the footage.

One of the TV partners mentioned is Disney....that's not going to sit well with Colin Cowheard.

Punk is my favorite wrestler in this business and as much as I want him in the main event for WM30 for the title so he could get his moment, I don't see hook nose allowing Punk anywhere near it.

If they do it right, the network can be a success.

The next one who will go after AJ and the Divas title will Tamina, you watch.

Last night, Randy Orton once again proved that he is the most underrated Main Eventer in WWE.

I don't mind Randy being in the position he's in right now, but he needs to start committing some atrocities soon. It's not good enough, considering what's at stake, for us to boo him just for being a jerk.

I think so too, but they may hold off until Mania. Since the pairing began, I've always thought it would play out similar to this...

I'd agree. I know I'm probably in the minority, but I really enjoyed his heel run when he was punting people left, right and centre. Ironically, it was that gimmick that seemed to get him the most over, which resulted in the E turning him face eventually.

In some ways, it reminds me of Stone Cold's clownish, alliance-leader heel turn. We had a badass, violent, antihero face, who becomes "evil" by becoming less violent and more neutered. It didn't really work that well then, and it's not really working right now, so far at least.

I agree. I loathed Austin's heel turn after WMX7, as well as the whole Alliance leader angle.

The problem with Orton in my opinion is he is not consistent with it especially with subpar promos in the past at least in comparison with the other top tier talent. I would like not just Bryan to bring out the best in Orton.

I don't think so. It just might begin by Royal Rumble time, possibly after the holidays.

The first month of his heel turn he was one of the most vicious bastards on the planet. He and Triple H decimated Lita and the Hardy's on more than one occasion.
