I'd be very okay with this. I like both Reigns and Big E.

Though, I think Big E. would benefit from having a manager.

Big E would do great with a female valet, and get a George and Gracie kind of chemistry going. Like he had with AJ, someone who he has no romantic designs on at all, they just hang around together for no stated purpose.

Emma from NXT would be a great choice.

Most Overpushed
Ryback - Give it up WWE, it's never gonna happen

Most Underutilized
Antonio Cesaro - Him and Swagger have become a good team and made the best of it, but he's capable of so much more

Superstar of the Year: Bryan, easily. He proved what we already knew, that he belongs at the top, and has all the tools to carry the company, at least for bursts of time, even if he might not be "the face of WWE."

In Ring Performer(s) of the Year: Punk. The guy hasn't had a major match this year that wasn't awesome. Almost reminds me of how HBK would bring it in the big match situations.

Match of the Year (Top 5): In no specific order;
1) Punk vs. Lesnar
2) Cena vs. Bryan
3) Cena vs. Punk (Raw before WM)
4) CodyDust vs. The Shield (Battleground)
5) Punk vs. Taker

Feud of the Year: Punk vs. Heyman. The teases, the turn, and the build to Punk vs. Brock was spectacular. Even after that, while McSillyputty and Ryback suck, Punk and Heyman continued to keep it entertaining by mic work alone, and Punk finally beating Heyman on top of the cell was great.

Promo of the Year: Lesnar, "Paul, say something stupid." lolol
... but seriously, I think it goes to AJ. Total Divas pipebomb was epic.

Moment of the Year: I'm sure this will be unpopular, but the whole ending to Summerslam. Yes, even the HHH heel turn and screwjob on Bryan. Bryan winning was a ridiculously unbelievably amazing moment, but I even loved the Triple H turn. I've been waiting for him to turn heel for years, and when it finally happened, I was thrilled not only because I was getting my favorite heel back, but because I really expected it to end in Bryan overcoming H and cementing himself on top. Sure, it didn't pan out like that, but at the time, it was a thrilling moment for me.

Most Improved of the Year: Reigns. He used to just be the big scary dude in The Shield, but he's proven he actually can work, maybe even talk, and deserves the chance for a spot at the top he'll eventually get... just not too soon lol. Plus, THAT SPEAR!

Diva of the Year: AJ. No explanation needed.

PPV of the Year: I went to Mania, and had a blast, but Summerslam takes this one easy.

Best Newcomer: Bray Wyatt/Wyatt family. Excellent vignettes, great entrance, good workers, and even better characters. They seemed to be stalling at first, but now that they've really got something to sink their teeth into, with tension with The Shield and the Bryan feud, they're living up to the hype.

Most Overpushed: Cena. Whether it's Mania against The Rock or coming back 3 months ahead of time from surgery to win the title randomly, they keep reminding us that almost no one but John Cena matters.

Most Underutilized: Dolph Ziggler. It's just ****ing sad how little they use him. Such wasted potential.

**For newcomer, I would have picked the Shield, but technically they debuted last year, so in my mind, they're ineligible**

- According to The Wrestling Observer, AJ Lee will not be punished for the backstage incident with Michelle Beadle at WWE's Tribute to the Troops taping, as WWE considered the matter over after officials spoke with both Punk and Lee following the incident.

For those unaware, Punk was upset with the way WWE officials handled the situation, as he Tweeted "it's difficult to always try to do business the proper way with a company that refuses to practice the same standards."

As we reported shortly after the incident, Michelle Beadle posted an explanation of what happened between her and Punk claiming she thought AJ Lee's outburst towards her was a joke.

- As we reported earlier tonight, UNLVTickets.com is advertising former WWE Champion Batista for WWE's 2/16 event in Las Vegas, NV, and according to PWInsider.com, sources within WWE have confirmed that Batista will indeed be returning to WWE and the advertisement is not a mistake.

The ticketing website released the promo for Batista's return prematurely, and spoiled WWE's planned surprise, which could be that the former Champ is returning at The Royal Rumble.

We exclusively reported back in July of this year that Batista has been in talks with Triple H about a potential return to the company, as the wrestler-turned-actor does want to have one more run with WWE.

Furthermore, WZ spoke with a source in WWE this evening and we were told it's likely we will see promos begin to run promoting the return of Batista to WWE in the coming weeks.

It's being said that Batista will likely work with WWE until he is called to do promotional work for his upcoming movie Guardians of the Galaxy, which will be released in August of 2014.

- WWE is polling fans about who would win in a match between Shawn Michaels and CM Punk. Currently, CM Punk is leading the popular vote with 64 percent. There has been just over 13,000 votes that have been cast already.

Superstar of the Year: This honestly is a tough one because both Daniel Bryan and CM Punk fit. But in terms of who has made the most impact and climbed to the mountain, it's definitely Daniel Bryan. Every time there's a main-event segment, his name is chanted whether he's involved or not. That is impact.

In Ring Performer(s) of the Year:
Daniel Bryan: In the main-event or not, whether top billed or not, he's delivered in the ring. He's smooth, hard hitting, quick, and technically oriented. What makes him so good to watch is the crowd eats up everything he does. He can have a scientific match and the crowd will stay with him.

CM Punk: A lot of what I said about Bryan can be applied here, though I do feel like there's been a bit of a dropoff to Punk's in ring execution, likely due to injuries. But he's been picking it up, and his psychology never waned.

Goldust: Polished. A man who hadn't been in the ring in years, steps in and it's like he never left. Another man who grabs the crowd's attention.

Antonio Cesaro: Undercard wise, this was his year. When given a chance, Cesaro displayed his ability. His match against Bryan back in July was excellent, as well as his work with Cena last month. And of course, his feud with Sami Zayn on NXT is one of the best of the year.

Randy Orton: This is a shocker, I'm sure. But once Orton turned heel, his in-ring work picked up for me. I enjoyed it and he showed a lot of growth since his last heel run.

Match of the Year (Top 5)

CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar, Summerslam: I had anticipated this match for a long time and it lived up to the hype. This was one of the most realistic, and brutal wrestling matches I had ever seen. This is how you do WWE drama, MMA styled stuff in the ring. Punk, Lesnar, and Heyman told an excellent story, and completely wiped the floor with the Triple H's attempted feud with Brock.

CM Punk vs John Cena, RAW in February: My favorite rivalry of the last few years. They have amazing chemistry and this was no different. They pushed each other and made it each other look like a million bucks. They pulled out new moves showing how desperate they were to win. Tremendous.

John Cena vs Daniel Bryan, Summerslam: This was a great match as I expected. Cena stepped out of the box and put in some mat wrestling, though the star of the match was Bryan. His first PPV main-event for the belt and he delivered. This was also pretty stiff. Cena had a shiner from one of Bryan's strikes. I think their eventual rematch will be even better.

Sami Zayn vs Antonio Cesaro, 2/3 falls on NXT: If you haven't seen it seek this out. Sami Zayn, formerly El Generico in ROH, came and made a big splash. He was paired with Cesaro in a feud that culminated with this match. Smartly booked with some vicious moves and of course one of the craziest finishes I've ever seen.

Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton, RAW in December: It's so odd. It's easy to say Bryan brings out the best in everyone, but with Orton, he just clicked. He's easily Orton's best opponent since Christian, and he may be even better. Orton just raises his game, and this was no different. They pulled out a MOTY candidate in one of the last RAWs of the year. I didn't expect that. Back and forth, with some good selling on both parts. Orton's desperate move at the end sold how dangerous Bryan is.

Feud of the Year: CM Punk/Brock Lesnar/Paul Heyman. The entire summer with these three was textbook booking. Starting with Punk wanting to go his own way without Paul as his manager, Paul turning on CM Punk and sending his monster to destroy his former student. And the promos from Paul and Punk were amazing. There wasn't a bad moment with this feud, and it lead to the match of the year. Perfect.

Promo of the Year: The RAW after the Money In The Bank pay per view. Paul Heyman's promo on CM Punk where he ripped on Punk and explained his betrayal, and Punk's rebuttal. It was a half shoot, and if you've seen Punk's documentary, you know what I mean. And it culminated with Paul saying "It's clobbering time!", signaling Brock Lesnar to come out and take care of business.

Cena's promo on the RAW before Survivor Series came in close.

Moment of the Year: Daniel Bryan defeating John Cena clean and winning the WWE title. Did not see it coming.

Most Improved of the Year: Randy Orton? It feels like he's gotten better as the months went on.

Diva of the Year: AJ Lee without question.

PPV of the Year: Summerslam. Good show, and the main-events were worth the price.

Best Newcomer: Sami Zayn. Great worker who's built up a great following on NXT. The Shield would be second. Or vice versa.

Most Overpushed:Curtis Axel without question. They didn't start him out right with Triple H burying him in the ring, and he didn't do anything noticeable. He's bland and lacks charisma, which is a shame considering he's polished in the ring and who his father was. After him, the Bellas with ease. No one cares about them. Their face turn has been laughable.

Most Underutilized: Dolph Ziggler. He honestly should be in the upper mid card by now.

I'm enjoying reading the lists guys. Amazing how many good TV matches there were this year.

I don't get the Madison Rayne hate across the internet.

Rock Vs. Cena II was too good to be on the list. That or somebody at WWE.com fu**ed up big time, lol.

No wonder Kane is so good at promos.

I'm trying hard to care about Batista returning to WWE. Though I will admit, I will mark out ONLY for this theme song.

I like Batista, but there's only one match I want to see him work and I would save it for Extreme Rules.

I with you.

I think I'm more excited for the potential GOTG marketing he'll do while back rather than him actually being back.

Why wait until Extreme Rules? Just make it an Extreme Rules match.

Superstar of the year has to be Bryan.

just look and listen to the reactions of the crowds and all the YES chants. you don't really see that kind of response to an individual superstar very often.

clearly, the WWE can't continue to be tone deaf to that reaction...........can they?

Because they need a big match to sell the PPV. Kind of like how they did Cena Vs. Lesnar. Booking it for WrestleMania would be a waste IMO.

What exactly was so good about it? Especially compared to Punk/Lesnar, Punk/Cena, Bryan/Cena, Bryan/Orton, Taker/Punk, Bryan/Cesaro, Bryan\Rollins, Rhodes Brothers/Shield, and every other great match combination that happened this year?

I like Batista but I don't know which opponents would be good for him right now besides putting over guys like Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns

I would like to see Ryback job to him though

That's my issue as well. Batista especially doesn't fit into WrestleMania.
