I kinda wish they'd just hold off until Zack Snyder is done with Watchmen and go all out and hire Zack to do a balls-to-the-wall R-rated Wolverine movie.

Fox won't even allow an Alien v Predator movie to be R; no chance for Wolverine.

yes. that's the RIGHT thing to do. especially when covering a character who is a murderer and a psychopath. instead, we're getting happy meals. YAY!

The AvP sequel will be R - thankfully  Not that I watch the films, but that's good for the fans (I guess) :p

Maybe Wolverine can get an R-rated director's cut? The theatrical release would definitely be PG13 though.

How about Park Chan Wook for the directing job? Just a totally awesome thought :)

    Courted? Like, sexually?

Either way, so long as it's not Ratner I'll be happy.

Chatted ever so briefly with D.J. about Wolverine and he said that the script is GREAT and that it's a possibility for him.

That confirms the rumor and that he's happy with the script. Now it's just a matter of if he gets it...or if he takes it.

I hope Len gets the job, but I'm excited that he said the script is awsome.

I like DJ's style a bit better. I'd rather have Len for a Moon Knight film of course.

I'm not really familiar with either of those directors, but I guess I'd rather have DJ direct it since I didn't like Underworld very much and I've heard Disturbia is good.

Looks like the job may go to Len as DJ caruso just signed onto the dreamworks movie that was talked about. I would love to know if there are any other directors in the mix.
Now that DJ is not an option, what will FOX do if Die hard bombs? Would they still hire Wiseman? I see an announcement coming very soon or maybe around ComicCon.

Just briefly texted back and forth with BJ and he had to make a choice of Eagle Eye or Wolverine and I didn't get exactly why he made the decision he did but he absoloutely loves the script. Eagle Eye is some sort of Political Thriller he said with two very strong characters and he's starting to shoot in November.

So Wiseman it is. Die Hard held up damn well in this Summer's competition.

I meant DJ. I was going to BJ's to eat. That's funny. I'm not buddies with him though. Just a friendly guy who responds to fans here and there. He's on my myspace top list so you can message him too if you wish. ;)

I wouldnt mind Ratner doing the Wolverine movie...as long as he has plenty of time and the movie isnt rushed like X3...Remember Wolverine was the only character who shined in X3...lol

Ratner's a fine director. His movies entertain and make money. He's done comedy, action, and drama and suceeded in all. He's not the best ever but he's not the hack that whiney fanboys claim he is.
