And some other stuff if you want to write some in.

Damn, Rough. You're gonna kill me with this one. I bought a ton of TFs this year, and alot of older toys. I'm probably going to see other peoples lists, be reminded of other stuff, and want to change mine.

Best Company: Gotta hand it to NECA. While I'm not as anti-Hasbro as others here, they haven't put out many MLs I actually want. NECA makes great looking toys on characters I want to own as toys. 'Nuff said.

Best Line: *sigh.* Tough one. I'm going to go with the movie Transformers. They captured my heart and imagination (not to mention my wallet) in a way toys haven't in a long time.

Best Wave: The concept Star Wars toys was probably one of the coolest ideas for us SW fans. Always loved those concept paintings, it's cool to be able to own toys based on them.

Best Fig: MP Starscream. Honorable mention: Batman and Son Batman...just think he's the coolest looking Bat toy to date.

Best New Line: Legendary Heroes.

Worst Company: Again, I'm staying off the inevitable Hasbro-beat-down-wagon. Diamond Select sucks, sucks, FRIGGIN' SUCKS!!!! Better looking toys could be molded out of month-old dog crap. I'm a big BSG fan, and those toys are a tremendous let down. Not only that, earlier this year, Diamond Select made a great looking Buffy snowglobe, based on one of my favorite eps "Ammends." It was probably the most (possibly only) impressive thing Diamond ever made....AND THEY CANCELED IT.

Worst Line: This may be the hardest one. FF:ROTSS toys were lame, thanks to the scale. Most of the Spidey 3 toys failed to impress...The aforementioned BSG...Can't decide...Might edit later.

Worst Wave: The Blob BAF line. Nothing but characters I really couldn't care less about. There is Thor, but I dislike that costume. I like Wolvie, but don't like that toy...It's largely based on X3, which (sorry Spideyboy) I don't like. To me, this is the least interesting ML line to date.

Worst Fig: Did the HML Emma Frost or silver Wolvie come out this year? If so, one of those. If not, HML Human Torch.

Best Company: going to go with likeness factor Neca
Best Line: half to say marvel legends...
Best Wave: marvel legends series 2 (based on one i was most excited for)
Best Fig: astonishing cyclops
Best New Line: based on looks, even though i didnt buy them, legendary heroes
Worst Company: mezco
Worst Line: goonies, they looked horrible
Worst Wave: goonies
Worst Fig: hasbro ML emma frost

Best New Line: Probably NECA's Player Select. There's only been a few from it that I've wanted to so far, but it has potential. I'm glad someone has finally taken notice that gamers want their favorite characters to made into action figures. Besides, Kain, Raziel and Kratos alone makes this line great.

really?

quicksilver, yellow jacket, blob, and she-hulk were pretty much all most wanted figures

Not for me. And from what I can tell, all the toy stores around here are having a hard time getting rid of them.

LA just started getting an abundance of them, and ohio seems sold out everywhere...

Well, in all fairness, I'm usually more of a DC guy. In the last year, Marvel's done more to impress me, but the only books I read are Daredevil (first and foremost), ASM, and I've been reading X-Men. So by nature, I'm not as inclined to buy Marvel figs as I am DC.

But really...Mezco may have made the goofy-looking (I'll give them that) Goonies toys, but most of their other stuff hasn't been that bad. Sure, they've mainly made horror toys this year, and there's an overabundance of them on the market, but they're just about on par with Neca. They're a few years old, but just look at their Hellboy toys, comic or movie....simply awesome. Compared to Diamond Select, Mezco is solid gold.

Ryo, I feel like I should tell you this. Remember the discussion we had about anime? Well in my eyes, next to Harry Potter, anime is like the finest of Italian cuisines.

Among great and more adult-themed anime you may have missed out on that I have yet to suggest are Cowboy Bebop and the Ghost in the Shell series. If you haven't seen those, I highly recommend them, especially Cowboy Bebop.

I watched the movie...while I had no idea what was going on for a majority of the movie (having not seen the show), but it was the closest to liking anime I've ever come. I'll have to check it out.

I've seen and read GITS. Movie was okay, wish I could see it again, and the comic was pretty cool.

Isn't Cowboy Bebop about bounty hunters? Always a good place to start in my book.

I myself didn't like the GITS movies. The Stand-Alone Complex show is excellent though. Same with the Cowboy Bebop movie, the show is way better.

Yes, CB is about Bounty Hunters and takes place during the 2070's. Spike Spiegal is a former gangster on the run from the mafia [also knows Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do], Jet Black is a former detective with a cybernetic arm, Faye Valentine was in cryogenic sleep for 70 years and has a massive debt [and in turn resorts to crime to repay it], and Ed is a child genius that's a bit on the odd side. Course, there's the Welsch Corgi, Ein, a test tube dog with higher intelligence than a normal dog.

The series exudes excellence. My most favorite anime ever.

Worst Fig: HML Emma Frost/Ultimate Wolverine

And some other stuff if you want to write some in.

Does it count if I vote???? With my Hasbro loving stuff! hahahahaha....
Let's see!

I really like the DC Universe BAF....It is ultra small, but it has a nice sculpt and paint app.....

By the way...If anybody knows where I can get one Metamorpho loose....let me know! :)

Technically the DC universe Stuff was a 2008 release

Not for me. And from what I can tell, all the toy stores around here are having a hard time getting rid of them.

In that case, can you get me Wolvie, Thor, QS, YJ, and Juggie? I've had a 8!+(# of a time finding them at retail.

I could probably find most of those. What kind of luck have you had with finding figs in the FF line? Perhaps we could trade.

Wolvie, QS and YJ would be easy to get. Thor is the "rare" one. And Juggs? too old of a wave to find around here.

Doom and Surfer are the two I'm most interested in. I want thing, but I'm only going to make a custom with him...and I'm too buried in model kits right now to think about a custom. If you find a Doom or Surfer, let me know.
