Whisenhunt was my choice for COTY....I want them to destroy the Eagles....like Schillinger on Tobias style....

Come on Donnie, no excuses. The Eagles are catching a lot of breaks and the Arizona D is still shutting them down. Arizona is playing like the better team today, so far. That said. There is a lot of football to be played.

Its not reviewable? WTF!?! Since when is spot of the ball not reviewable?!? I expect an NFL apology.

The Head of Officiating will defend the call on NFL Network.

I think all plays should be reviewable. Cause of bad judgment calls like that.

Arizona wasn't challenging the spot of the ball. They were challenging the rule on the field that it was Eagles ball. However, since it was blown dead, it's not reviewable. The NFL doesn't have to apologize for anything regarding that play

Jim Johnson has been taken back out to the woodshed... damn... you gotto love these Trashgles choking like this... hopefully its a blowout...

I thought you told me that I should root for Arizona to make my team look good? The Eagles getting blown out by the Cardinals makes the Cowboys look like an absolute joke.

This is why NFL officials are a joke. That was a HORRIBLE call.

True but that is why Replay exists. Its great the NFL gave us replay, but the NCAA has shown how flawed the pro's system is. The NFL should move to the college system where every play is reviewed and everything should be reviewable. Instant Replay's goal should be to make sure the right call is made.

Still, though, the NFL needs to fix it's officiating. The fact that Major League Baseball and the NBA have better officiating then the number 1 sport in all of America is sad.

But even if it wasn't blown dead, was there sufficient evidence to overturn the call on the field?

Except for the fact that...you know...it was the wrong call.

McNabb seemingly goes to Avant on every third down play every time I watch the Eagles play.

No it wasn't. The ball went out of bounds, bounced back and hit the dude on the forearm. Where is the evidence to overturn the call?

Except for the fact the ball never went out of bounds. Never, ever went out of bounds.

Avant is more or less the TE on this team...he's one of the more sure handed WR's

but it hit his forearm when his foot was out of bounds.

The Eagles are very stupid. Why hit him? He's not going to get scared over stupidity

I saw the replay. It was out of bounds. But even then, that call doesn't change the flow of the game.

Christ, that was bush league. :down
