Just having some fun to get a reaction out of you, Donnie. No hard feelings outside of this thread :yay:

Besides...look at the bright side. You have the World Series champions. I have the team with longest streak of losing seasons in the history of professional sports. :csad:

At least your baseball team has won a playoff series. My team cannot even say that.

Signed,

The fan of the only team in the Major Leagues to never win a playoff series.

And Flacco knows better than to try the sneak on that Pittsburgh D-line.

You should know that worst time to joke with someone is after a sports loss:csad:

There's definitely no hard feelings...most of my anger stems from Tonie.:cmad:

That's why I hate it when my team plays first in a playoff weekend. If you lose, you don't even want to watch the rest of the games.

Fans invest money. No fans = no team. Period. Also a packed stadium is a lot more powerful than an empty one, momentum is huge in football and nothing makes momentum easier to control than a friendly stadium.

Even with a friendly stadium, the home team can still lose. No matter how many tickets, merchandise, or beer is sold.

:o I've never heard that stat. Who is it? And I'd rather have at least one winning season :csad:

Even with Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and maybe the best coach in the history of the game your team can still lose :o

Which is what makes it fun :cwink:

I think 95 % of all anger in the NFL thread stems from Tonie with the other 5 % coming from Excel :csad:

Flip those numbers and you have my stats.
Although, there is one other poster (who I won't name) that aggravates me so much that I actively root against his teams just so that he will have a bad day.

:lmao: You've gotta PM that to me.

All I want is for the Texas Rangers to go to the ALCS. It's all I want. Baby steps.

Nope, I'm around come what may, when Caldwell drops easy passes and costs us AFC confrence games, when we go 18-1, when we go 11-5 and miss the playoffs........you get the point :cwink:

You are not alone, man. Yet I still buy at least 10-15 tickets a year. :csad:

I'm the same way with the Pirates. I hate them, but I can't stop. Never-the-less, I will not attend Pirate-fest next weekend. I am not waiting in line for 8 hours to meet guys who would be in the minor league on any other team.

Not again. :cmad:

You're kidding me with that play.

If the Steelers win, The Pirates will win the World Series to! [/ESPN]

Why I love Santonio Holmes: He's not the best number 2 receiver in the league. Probably not even top five. But when he gets the ball, he is not afraid to fight for the extra yardage or even take a dive for it.
