and the NFL is our sport anyway....i thought american football was too soft for you guys....isnt there a soccer thread you should be in right now (talking crap about David Beckham or arsenal or something):oldrazz:

Since you guys dstroyed our sacred pitch NFL is now our sport too, you guys can also keep Beckham :oldrazz:

It's a good question, Roethlisberger has been blessed with better weapons on offense through his career thus far but Eli does have the very talented Plaxico Burress, the reliable Amani Toomer, and of course Jeremey Shockey. Along with a fairly decent running game. Ben has Ward, Miller, Parker and he had Bettis, along with that great o-line. In terms of the two's actual play. Ben has impressed me more than Eli thus far, as i've seen Eli play some BAD football. But Eli played very well this post-season and maybe he's hit a turning point?

I think i'd say Ben is better right now, but it's close and they still have a long way to go.

...........I can hear Matt coming down the street

Yell at your stadium management for not having the foresight to understand that a bunch of 250 and 300 lb men would be playing on that field and not take proper action....

They could have come better with the picks for Bridget and Giselle. :o

Daniel Day Lewis as Randy Moss:

Let's see just how brilliant an actor he really is.
:lmao:

What a horrible horrible mock draft.

Jacksonville...drafting...a QB...

Also anyone who thinks Glenn Dorsey is the safest pick of the draft is clearly operating from year old film and scouting reports and missed almost all of 2007.

Matt Ryan #1? really?

Parcells may take Ryan

but with Beck drafted in the second round last year, and only playing a few games, i dont see how you can go QB with the number one.

About Jax, isn't Garrard 30 or close to it? QB is still not the answer. Where else coudl they go though? Set at RB, both lines, Safety, CB.....I guess WR.

WR?

Their receivers are very mediocre.....

Am I the only one who thinks this thread is far too early? I assumed if I made it a mod would close it down :o

Andrews was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and driving an unregistered motor vehicle, a black Crown Victoria. Prosecutors said he had $6,800 in cash, three bags of marijuana, and no means to smoke the drugs.
He had half a pound of the Mary Jane.

Someone wants a spot in the Bam Morris/Nate Newton Herbal Hall of Fame. :o

Weed makes the pain go away.....thats what the cool kids tell me

Reggie White:
Reggie White wasn'y driven out of town, he was beloved. We didn't have the money to sign White. Christ he's the only Eagle to have there own shrine at the new staduim.

Iverson
Allen Iverson had nothing but off the court problems. Many around the NBA believed we held onto him to long. He quit on Mo Cheeks last year. The simple fact is Iverson didn't make anyone around him better. The fans knew he played his heart out, which is why he was always cheered. Every interview Iverson does, all he says is how much he loves the Philly fans.
Barkley
Barkely wanted out of Philly because management didn't make the team better. He wasn't driven out at all. Also I think people forget the amount of trouble Barkely got into with the fights and spitting on people but anyway, heres an article:
"Barkley spent eight seasons in Philadelphia, but the team's best showing during his tenure was in his first year, when the Sixers went 58-24 in the regular season and advanced all the way to the 1985 Eastern Conference Finals, where they lost to the Boston Celtics in five games. After several disappointing early-round playoff defeats, the Sixers failed to make the postseason in 1991–92 and Barkley wanted out of the City of Brotherly Love.

Barkley's time in Philly brought headlines and headaches. The incidents were many, such as the infamous spitting incident during a game against the New Jersey Nets where Barkley's expectorant, aimed at a heckler, landed on a young girl at the Meadowlands Arena."

Got anymore?
No response BL?
