Yep growing up, I went to all SMU home games in their winning days of Craig and Dickinson.......it was crap, knowing what Oklahoma was doing at the time.

Oklahoma was a little more discrete about it, SMU had a "council" of boosters and also had players sign agreements for payment

Still up in the air about the Golden hire. Not what I expected, but there wasn't much outside of the Gruden rumor (that was never to be) that did pique interest.

Apparently, he's a damn good recruiter and preaches discipline. On the other hand, he's coming from Temple. Looks to have some interesting philosophies on defense though. Eh.

That Big Ten conference naming might be the third silliest thing in college football; right behind the BCS and Oregon's 4th uniform.
