2011/2012 NHL Thread: Dood, you're the Kings!

Really surprised about Karlsson... great week for the kid... and really happy for Landeskog... and I would have given the Vezna to either Mike Smith (he's never having that year again) or Quick.

:yay:

I love the NHL off-season.

The playoffs end, then a week later on 3 successive days they have the Awards show, then the schedule release, and then the Draft. And then a week later free agency starts.

It's necessary. Without constant activity in the NHL, Canadians will have nothing to occupy our time, and would get bored and invade the USA.

Penguins traded Stahl to Carolina. Son of a *****. Honestly, of Sid, Malkin and Stahl I think that Stahl was the best all around hockey player. Sid and Malkin are great offensive players but Stahl is a true two way hockey player.

Man,that kinda sucks. :csad: I agree with you,Matt. Jordan was a great all around player and gave us a threat up the middle that other teams didn't have. I knew that after he rejected that 10 year deal, that he was already gone. Not 100% sure about this trade.
Well, good luck,Jordan...and thanks for the memories!!

Its a great trade for both teams...Brandon Sutter is legit.

Crappy trade by the Leafs. Yet another forward with health issues, and they give up a top 4 defenceman. Stupid. :down

My Blues drafted a ton of Americans, gotta love that, they didn't draft well though.
