So minnesota is really trying to asemble the whitest nba roster since the early 1970s

after signing steimesma they currently have 10 white players on the roster.

David kahn is trying to do what Red Auerbach did in the mid 80s. Surrounding his white star with some white players to make him feel more comfortable and have teammates to hang out with. I think he went a little overboard tho

Did you watch the game or are you only reading what ESPN said? Carmelo clearly kept this team in the game. Yeah Lebron scored a few buckets at the end but Melo clearly was the MVP this game. And yet I'm the delusional one.

Don't give Melo credit for keeping them in the game when James came through in the clutch. LeBron has done the same thing his entire career and would be trashed for not coming through in the clutch. I've read the same thing in here countless times that it doesn't matter what you do through the game unless you can close the deal.

At the same time, I still look at this as a dumb "argument" or debate. You're talking about a bunch of All-Stars/Future HoF'ers on the same team and it still comes down to what James did or didn't do. What he did do was seal the win for this one. In the end, that's all that matters.... right?

The Lakers and Magic are again discussing a trade involving Dwight Howard, according to sources.

The two teams are also involving the 76ers and Nuggets in trade talks. Talks have been ongoing for several days and are substantive even though no agrement is close.

Any Howard deal involving the Lakers will almost certainly include Andrew Bynum.

This newest deal would also likely including Gasol leaving also. I don't like it. I would welcome Dwight with open arms but only if it means one of Bynum/Gasol going the other way.

Gasol isnt in the final deal it looks like so now LA has Kobe/Dwight/Nash/Gasol and jamison off the bench that is awesome if it goes through

I didn't like the fact that the earlier proposed trade included both Bynum and Gasol, but now this trade is absolutely excellent. I expect the league to approve this trade, and now Lakers have the three-headed monster of Kobe/Nash/Howard with Gasol and Metta World Peace rounding out the remaining starting team. This is fantastic.

Glad they didn't lose Gasol too, even though I don't care for him personally that much, his skill set will be way more effective with Nash/Howard then it has been the past couple years.
