I post the domestic DVD+BluRay sales from the website DVD by the Numbers for all CBM and CBM-related movies that I noticed. Let me know if I missed one. If I could post the international numbers I could as those are more meaningful, but I could not find them.

What trends do you notice? What exceptions?

Before analysing, bear in mind that some movies show up in multiple years, because they have good longevity.

Actually, since I have the information at my fingertips.

Transformers 4 and Thor 2 beat TASM 2. I love it.

Wow--only TDKR is even close to The Avengers, and not particularly close at that. :wow:

They are pretty close. Think Avengers came out in Sept 2012 and DKR in Dec 2012. So DKR sold more through 2013.

TDKR also sold more in its TDKT packaged DVD/BluRay sets, either way Avengers' integrated sales are higher.

However, The Dark Knight has integrated sales of 316 million, which is higher than the 220 million of the Avengers. They unfortunately don't list integrated units.

Gothcha.

Do you keep up with Digital sales as well DA Champion? I'm curious how much those have went up with all the early releases sites like itunes, Amazon and Vudu have had in the past couple years.

I don't know where to find them, sorry.

All good.

Thanks for posting the disc numbers, was wondering about those as well

I am even happier to see how well The Lego Movie sold.
