This is just awful. Two picks in each possession, come on Ben. The D needs to get a turnover back to help turn this back around.

We're seeing the failure of Bruce Arians. He doesn't adjust his system to his players. He expects them to adjust to him. He is putting the majority of the burden on his injured quarterback rather than running the ball.

Very true. It's not like the Niners are stalling Mendenhall or anything. When he gets the ball he's getting good yardage. They could switch between him and Redman and just pound that ball in. But what do we know, right?
Looks like the football Gods smiled on the Steelers for now. The lights went out again to maybe let them think over maybe NOT having the quarterback with the injured foot not throw every play.
This is why I don't like Tomlin as a coach. He summed up his philosophy perfectly following the 2009 season (when they had the December collapse missed playoffs) and he refused to fire Arians saying, "Big changes aren't something I believe in." If Arians refuses to adjust his decision making due to the injury, Tomlin needs to relieve him of his play calling privledges. But Tomlin just doesn't have it in him. Hell, look at his pre-game conference. He made it sound like it was Ben's choice to play. Your injured quarterback is playing like ****. Man up as head coach and pull him. Too much pandering from Mike Tomlin. We'd never see this from Bill Cowher. It infuriates me.
Cowher would be pounding that ball and making the Niners defense beg for his mercy. I REALLY miss Cowher so much in Pittsburgh. Even the way he talks on the CBS pregame I just go, "He's still got it". He should make a quick call to Tomlin and do some armchair coaching.

I'm not watching the game but I like hearing that the Steelers are doing bad
Here's my thought though... why is Ben even playing? They've locked a playoff spot... why not let him sit a game or two and heal up in preparation. He's hurt... get him healthy!
