Ha. I see what you did there with the humor.

I dunno, Romo does have a tendency to choke but he has a larger body of consistent work. Meh, I guess I'd have to go with Vick as well though as far as trust, guy has ridiculous ability.

Another exciting Thursday night matchup. Too bad the Colts won last week. That killed the only drama there might have been.

And I'll still be watching ...

I'd say Romo. He is more consistent. Vick, it depends which Vick shows up and what defense he is playing. If Vick is up against a quick, hard hitting defense, his legs are useless and he has neither the arm nor the head to compensate. Romo is quarterback. Vick is an athlete. Therefore I'd take Romo.

Are you disparaging the epic QB battle between T.J. Yates and Dan Orlovsky?

Of course not ... That match up screams "Epic QB Shootout".

I can't wait for all of those dramatic shots of Manning walking the sidelines.

Agreed. I'm not impressed with Romo, but Vick will quit on his team in a split second.

I honestly don't think Vick is all that bad. And I'm someone who hates the great running/horrible passing breed of quarterbacks. Not to mention, the whole dog murdering thing.

Having watched 90% of the Eagles games this season, I can't say that Vick cost them a single game. Despite his high number of interceptions, he's run the offense pretty smoothly, and all of the Eagles loses he's been apart of ultimately came down to stupid mistakes by other players, or poor defensive play by the Eagles.

My biggest complaints with him (and the reason why I'd really wish the Eagles would get a new QB) is his age, and his affinity to get injured. Outside of that, he's a solid QB.

Romo however, I swear there's just something about this guy that screams he'll never be a champion. He has cost his team games due to his own, totally stupid, mistakes - both this season and throughout his whole career. While I wouldn't necessarily take Vick if I was an NFL owner, I most certainly would never touch Romo.

I'm also tired of the year in and year out conversation on how this year, Romo is gong to turn the corner. This is what his 6 year?

James Harrison talks just to hear noise coming out of his mouth.

Yeah, pretty much this.

Romo pretty much becomes a liability in clutch situations, you never really expect him to come through, you're just waiting for the f'n axe to drop on your team.

Matt Barkley just held a ****ing press conference to say he's staying another year. A ****ing press conference.

Hehe, true. What has he said this time?

http://www.latimes.com/sports/football/nfl/la-sp-nfl-report-20111222,0,942841.story?track=rss

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison understands his helmet-to-helmet hit on Cleveland quarterback Colt McCoy was illegal by the letter of the law.

He can also understand why the NFL suspended him one game as punishment for a series of similar hits over the last three seasons.

What Harrison doesn't quite understand, however, is why the Browns have not also been disciplined by the league for allowing McCoy to return to the Dec. 8 game so quickly if the quarterback was in such bad shape.

"If he was hurt so bad I don't know why they let him back in … two plays later?" Harrison said. "Something should be done to them, I would think. I don't know. I got a game, what should they get?"

I heard Rich Eisen on radio this morning speculating he may announce he's staying. I was like, "Yeah, no way he'd hold a press conference just to say he's sticking around another season".

I too am surprised...the only press conferences that get called in these situations is when they announce they're declaring for the pros. Weird.

In my opinion. They never were

Agreed. That crap started back in the 90's when they were, you know, good. With Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin. They've been pretty craptacular for a long time.

America's team is generally the team that wins the Super Bowl, in my opinion. :oldrazz:

Nope... I can rememeber people saying that in the early 80's... :o

Oh my goodness. Colts first play is a fumble. Texans take two plays to get into the end zone. Meh. I was hoping to see a good game tonight. Oh well, guess it'll be a massacre. :oldrazz:

I'm surprised this is still a game mid way through the 3rd. The Colts don't look like they'll be able to do much on offense, though.

And both teams lost their starting QB, but guess which one looked like a NCAA Division-I team? Colts are pathetic.
