So when is Jon Gruden going to extoll the greatness of Tarvais Jackson?

The NFL needs to get rid of that rule.

No they shouldn't and this is an exact example of why. It was pure psychological warfare and it bought his defense a second chance. Of course, if Bailey shanked the first kick, it would've worked against him. It is a strategic decision by a coach that is perfectly legal. There is no way that the NFL should create a Bailey Rule. Coaches should be allowed to use their time outs however they see fit.

JPP is a stud...damn giants got a good one there.

LOL at Garrett for wasting his timeout...He should have let them scored...They needed more time there, but what a joke with a lead that big.

Not Bailey's fault...It was whoever that was assigned to JPP

Yeah, I agree. They have every right to do that. Most kickers just power through and still make the field goal. Apparently the Cowboys kicker doesn't have the concentration.

I see a real life Ray Finkle emerging as we speak.

THE LACES WERE IN!! THEY WERE IN! :awesome:

That rule though is more legit than the Rooney Rule, which is very easy to comply with....

Basically, brunch with Tony Dungy.

When the Cowboys were on the drive when leading by 5, they should have went "Run, Run, Run" instead of passing it on third down. Hate when teams don't do this.

He has been the MVP for the Giants all year. And with the way Eli's been playing this year, that's really saying something.

He's the best defensive player we have too, Tuck and Osi included.

Hell has officially frozen over....The Houston Texans are in the playoffs!

They are celebrating in Houston now!

Amazing finish to that game. Two point conversions are always exciting to me.

One has to really think...If TJ Yates has a good run here, do they trade him or keep him and trade Schaub

I'm calling it, This is game of the season. My god, it was back and forth. Thank god the New York Football Giants came on top.

You keep Schaub. Yates might go on a good run, but that doesn't mean he's going to be your future. If you trade Schaub and Yates ends up being a bust, you've pretty much screwed yourself.

Jets vs Giants...Christmas Eve

Get that popcorn ready...Oh man!

Trade Yates. Maybe Seattle could be interested. He'd be 100 times better then what they already have. Keep Schaub and Leinart. Leinart is valuable in Co-ed banging.

If the Giants win the next two weeks, I'm going to the game against Dallas week 17.

IMO, Seattle should think about drafting Robert Griffin III. There is no way in hell Pete Carroll is that stupid to keep Tarvaris "Hamilton Tiger-Cats" Jackson and Charlie "Edmonton Eskimos" Whitehurst as the two QB's next year. They need serious upgrading. I laughed when Seattle signed Jackson to a two year contract, and I am still laughing at that. It is one of the worst signings hands down during the rushed offseason, because I didn't think Jackson would still be in the NFL.

Honestly, what the hell does Pete Carroll see in Jackson that we don't?

They should have kept Hasselbeck.
