Looks like the KC Chiefs have fired Haley according to breaking news from Yahoo Sports.

Well at least he'll now have more time to cruise the local high schools in his camaro...

Seriously thought he'd get another year. With Charles and Cassel out that team is pretty undermanned offensively.

I always thought Haley was overrated, and they got exposed this year, so I'm not surprised to see him getting fired.

So... :) if season ended today 8-5 Denver would host 10-3 Pittsburg.

Big Ben vs Tebow
Bad vs Good.
Evil vs Great.
Mr. Sexual Assault vs Mr. Church going Guy.
Mr. Toughness vs Mr. Leader

Now that's a game...yes, I'm smiling :) cause Ben and Tebow outside the game are totally different.

Steelers would destroy the Broncos. They'd flood the line with their killer defense...Kiesel's beard would body slam Tebow and then Harrison will nail him with helmet to helmet and end his career. :woot:

Then Ben would rape him to add insult to injury. :oldrazz:

It seems to me that all those teams who lose to Tebow were able to stop him for 3 quarters, but in the last quarter most or all of them went into the typical prevent defense, and thus Tebow was able to beat them in the end. Why can't those teams just keep doing what worked in the first 3 quarters and applied it in the last one? Maybe Tebow won't have the record he has right now.

Terrible decision by Kansas City. The fact the team is 5-8 is a credit to Haley's ability as a coach.

Yeah, there's that. But look at the teams that they played. The Chiefs were solid but they were an iffy team. The Chargers are decent but...come on..they are a team that ends up beating themselves because of Norv Turners horrible decision making.

They did upset the Jets, I'll give them that one.

Then the Vikings...come on...the Vikings are pretty horrible.

Then they played a Bears team without their starting quarterback and their star running back. Once again...Bears should have won that game if not for the fumble...and also the fact that Prater kicks a 59 yard field goal. If Tebow were a star quarterback he would have gotten them closer for an easier field goal or gotten a TD.

They play the Pats this week and that's going to be a real test. If Tebow can actually beat the Pats by actually being a quarterback and not a running back who occasionally throws the ball...I'll give the guy more credit.

Other than that the defense of the Broncos has been carrying this team and eventually that luck is going to run out.

I agree. I like Haley and he seems to have had the team on the right path.

At any rate, in no huge surprise Romeo Crennel has been named interim head coach.

This is one of those cases where I can see Crennel becoming full time head coach as long as he wins a couple of games. He needs to beat Denver and Oakland or at least beat Denver OR Oakland and make a decent stand against Green Bay unless someone really high profile wants the job. Of course, there is also some talk of Josh McDaniels due to his relationship with Scott Pioli. That would be a disaster.

that only means that Kansas City doesn't have to "have coffee" with Tony Dungy in order to comply with the Rooney Rule.

They could interview Crennel and then go out and hire Jeff Fisher if they wanted to.

So now there is rumor that Peyton Manning could become a Dolphin next season. Why god why ?

I'm sure Manning will be attached to half the League before if he leaves the Colts.

So...on the way to work/school I was listening to ESPN Radio, right when I put it on they were talking about the miracle play yesterday and how none of them saw it coming. I thought they were talking about the amazing Giants/Cowboys game last night....but they were actually talking about Tebow.
I turned the radio off.

LMAO, which show?

Having everyone on your team who doesn't suck getting hurt real early on in the season would expose anybody...

Mike and Mike. I really do love those guys but come on man.

I like Mike & Mike but I do agree that they shouldn't really praise Tebow like that, but even Cowherd mentioned that the day after Tebow's victory he'd get bombarded with tons of emails from Tebow fans, so I think Mike & Mike were just doing it because it moves the meter. I do give Cowherd some credit for not jumping on the Tebow bandwagon as early as other analysts have done, though.

It is unbelievable how bad of a passer Tebow really is. Every pass comes out completely awkward, like he's throwing a shot put. Some how he keeps getting results and just keeps winning, though. I guess that's all that really matters in the end.

Suprised about Haley ,thought he would have gotten a 2nd chance due to the situation he was in with both Cassel and Charles been out.

A Harbaugh/Schwartz rematch would be a lot of fun, IMO.

Hey if the media focuses on the ''handshake bowl'' rather than the Tebow vs Steelers ,then Im all for it.

someone call the Yahoo graphics department and tell them to stop being so cheap. That Lions helmet is from 2009 and the 49ers helmet logo is backwards.

Imagine if the Superbowl came down to Broncos & Packers ?
