who goes to watch baseball at a baseball game? It's just a fun place to get drunk (but pregame first or your gonna spend a ****ton. Or buy cheap ass seats and use the rest you'd have spent on booze.)

That's the problem with baseball parks now. They're not baseball parks anymore, they're tourist attractions. Seats are empty (at least at Yankee Stadium) because the people are walking around the stadium, in the huge gift shop, the museum.....all while a baseball game is being played.

Also, the people with the tickets behind home plate are in the center field restaurant for the first 3 innings eating steaks or whatever. They get to their seats halfway thru the game (if they even make it there at all) and leave by the 7th inning stretch.

I miss the old stadium, the only place to go was the bathroom and it was full of real fans that can afford it, not this crap now where it's all rich stock brokers taking out clients for everything but a ball game. This is the environment the Yankees created, so now the real fans that can't afford the $110 seats, $50 parking and $11 beer just stay home.

I'm assuming it's similar at parks around the country.....?

Going to a NFL game is definitely an experience. It's something everyone should do at least once. With that said, it's so much better watching it on tv. The coverage is just too good. That's only the NFL, though.

Basketball, hockey, and baseball are so much better live. It's not even a contest.

Man I think going to an NFL game live is so much funner than watching it on TV.

I mean, I guess I get what you're saying, but being at the NFC Championship was so much better for me as a 49ers fan than just watching it on TV. Most stadiums now don't have a bad seat in the house anyways.

Me. I have no use for people that go to stadiums and don't watch the game.

Agreed.

/sarcasm.

But seriously, I love baseball, but watching it is pretty dull. When something finally does happen, you can barely see anything, lol. And most every regular season game is meaningless. Playoffs is a whole different story though. I was lucky enough to go one of the Giants World Series games at pacbell when Bonds still played. Amazing experience.

Kevin Kolb tore his ACL, MCL, PCL and LCL, dislocated his shoulder, cracked five ribs, shattered his eardrums, got tooth decay and contracted mono after a brutal tackle by rubber mat.

He will be out for the rest of his career.

I blame Ted Ginn Jr.

Why the f*** am I actually a little excited for a pre-season game? I'll give it half a quarter before my interest wanes.

:o

Dolphins and Cowboys preseason opener?

Good god, those Dolphin receivers are giving a run to the Panther receivers for "NFL's Worst".

The game is on in the background but I don't care for it.

I had a guy shocked that I wasn't watching it. But, this is also the guy that thinks I should be a Lions fan because Matthew Stafford played at Georgia.

The Dolphins and Bills are always Dark Horses.

This game is actually incredibly important. It's not every Sunday night that you get to see the immortal, indestructible Matt Moore playing quarterback.

My goodness this isn't even football anymore! So, much garbage to protect the QB. The NFL gets more boring each and every year.

The league was getting killed over lack of player safety. They reacted. This is how it's going to be for a long while. Would you rather see ex players in their 50's using walkers and wheelchairs?
