This game is actually incredibly important. It's not every Sunday night that you get to see the immortal, indestructible Matt Moore playing quarterback.

Where's ETM to applaud you for this statement??!! :o

matt moore threw a touchdown, where is ETM?

Well that game filled me with hope for my Phish. :whatever:

And I don't like the new color. Looks more baby blue than aqua...

That's the problem with baseball parks now. They're not baseball parks anymore, they're tourist attractions. Seats are empty (at least at Yankee Stadium) because the people are walking around the stadium, in the huge gift shop, the museum.....all while a baseball game is being played.

Also, the people with the tickets behind home plate are in the center field restaurant for the first 3 innings eating steaks or whatever. They get to their seats halfway thru the game (if they even make it there at all) and leave by the 7th inning stretch.

I miss the old stadium, the only place to go was the bathroom and it was full of real fans that can afford it, not this crap now where it's all rich stock brokers taking out clients for everything but a ball game. This is the environment the Yankees created, so now the real fans that can't afford the $110 seats, $50 parking and $11 beer just stay home.

I'm assuming it's similar at parks around the country.....?

I would say no. Yankees pretty much have the market cornered on stale, corporate, lifeless environments in MLB. Hence the reason their attendance is WAY down and they've been trying to sue StubHub since people are buying Yankees tickets there for peanuts these days.

I've been to games in Philly and Detroit this year and it's a pretty fun-filled family atmosphere (at least at the day games). Was at Fenway and Wrigley last season and it was basically a non-stop party at the games. Sure, there were some corporate types but the majority of people were your real, average fan types.

I don't mind the new logo. I got use to it and it's kinda cool. It makes me want to say, "So long, and thanks for all the fish." :cwink:

The color looks too baby blue, almost like the old Oilers. Wished they stuck with the darker aqua they have been using.

EDIT: And it's all moot if we have another mediocre/bad year. :csad:

Y'all will be okay if Mike Wallace actually catches the ball when it matters.

Sounds like Bryan Bulaga will be out for the season, torn ACL. Not good news for the Pack.

I need another player for SHHFFL Season XI... so if anyone here is interested in playing and is committed to playing, meaning you still play your players if you're 3-10... then leave a post in this thread... http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=461827 or leave me a message in my personal message box...

Please do not send me PM's, as I'm almost full.

Thanks.

:yay:

Interesting move by the Packers. I think they signed him so he could help the defense with the read option. The Packers two first games are against Kaepernick and RGIII.

Aww, Al and Cris are my favorite commentators. Phil and Jim, too.

And about Vince Young, I always liked him. Hopefully somebody signs him.
