Oh wow, awesome. He is a worthy backup too since that offensive line is a joke.

I remember Vince Young killing it at University of Texas. What a great player he was in college.

Seriously, what gives 'Fire?

That's what she said.

I don't mind the new logo. I got use to it and it's kinda cool. It makes me want to say, "So long, and thanks for all the fish." :cwink:

The color looks too baby blue, almost like the old Oilers. Wished they stuck with the darker aqua they have been using.

EDIT: And it's all moot if we have another mediocre/bad year. :csad:

The new logo looks like it should be from the official airline of some non-descript Caribbean nation.

Not really a fan of the new uni's either. Blue/aqua is too light and the orange is too muted by comparison. They look like a box of contact lenses.

Holy poo, this explains why Star's arms were employed as Kaijus in Pacific Rim.

Let's do this!!!

Tonight in preseason, it's a special Thursday edition of Monday Night Football. And yes, ESPN is using those exact words to describe it.

I typically don't care about pre-season, but I might actually watch it this year.

I usually watch a few minutes and then wonder why I bothered. Still exciting to have football back.

I'll usually watch when the first team offense/defense's are playing.

Everytime there is a pre-season game on, I get really excited and switch to it. Then my attention wanes after 2 or 3 minutes. This will no doubt keep happening until September.

How do pre-season tv ratings compare to regular season games?

Anyone know?

It's not even a competition, I'm assuming. It's usually a little over 20 million watching the average regular season football game. I know that first Miami/Dallas pre-season game had 10 million if I'm not mistaken. It's probably because we're just all thirsty for football.

Every year I get a little excited for preseason, just to see football again and the NFL uniforms on the field. And then after about 5 minutes, it goes away since it's such a pale facsimile of real NFL football. It's basically like watching zombies out there.

I watched the first quarter of the Bengal/Falcons game last night. While you can't gage much by pre-season, the Bengals looked pretty good. Our back up quarterbacks looked great (against other back ups at least), and Bernard showed that potential that I was hoping for. Here's hoping for a good season and our first post-season win in 23 years

The Niners look absolutely stacked at running back with Gore, James, Hunter and Dixon. Which is good since things aren't promising if Kap goes down, if yesterdays game was any indication. I also liked what I saw outta that huge TE McDonald.

So on the second snap of the preseason, Mark Sanchez threw a pick 6.....:ikyn

:lmao:

Finally, a chance to see what the Bears new O can do...and BAM! interception.

Classic Bears.

Wait, so can Cam ever do the Superman celebration anymore or did the NFL just ban spinning the ball on the ground?

...which is stupid as f***, btw.

They've had the rule that you can't use the football as a prop for a while now. I guess spinning the ball on the ground is using it as a prop in their eyes now.

How'd SJ39 look? Did he play at all in the first couple series's?
