They've had the rule that you can't use the football as a prop for a while now. I guess spinning the ball on the ground is using it as a prop in their eyes now.

You can't spin the ball toward the opponent or you will be flagged for 15 yards.

I think it's lame as hell. Personally, I feel like the NFL is too damn strict on touchdown celebrations. It's what makes the game fun for us viewers. Put penalties on players who celebrate after first downs. Touchdowns are important so if you get won, you can do a squirrel dance or whatever you want, regardless of if you are trying to tie the game or running up the score. This is entertainment. These men are not only athletes, but entertainers. Let's not forget that.

But fellow rookie, DE Demontre Moore, looked like a beast. I know we're stacked at the position, and Coughlin doesn't like to play rookies, but they're going to need to find a way to get this kid some playing time during the regular season.
