All joking aside, that is exactly how Goodell is being painted right now. You'd think he was there with Rice. These last week has been worse then Goodell or anyone in the NFL could have possibly imagined.

He deserves to be painted in that way. He deserves every ounce of criticism that's coming his way right now.

In fact, it has long been overdue.

Question, and I'm not being smartass here, but how many of my fellow hype posters in here are of the Caucasian persuasion? While AD went a bit too far, I can't say that this is necessarily frowned upon by fathers with a disciplined upbringing (which are typically of the minority side). My parents beat me with everything including a switch until my skin broke.

I think what Goodell did in the Rice situation deserves criticism. Unlike many here, I am a fan of his overall reign.

Not Caucasian. I am not from the South. I got beat by my father, even as a well behaved child, and I know what it is like to be afraid of my father. Peterson deserves jail if this is true, and right now there is no reason to think it didn't happen exactly as the little one said. No child should live in fear of their parent.
