Sundays without football:

Well, it's not that big of a difference, especially since I don't see much football even if my team does play.

:funny:

Co-signed. The only time a team should give up on their QB is when he's proven he's not even worth of a roster spot, ala Jamarcus Russell. I grew up near DC and I still remember the fans/local sports media whining about Joe Theismann incessantly--until Redskins won the Super Bowl with him. It's much easier to compensate for a QB's weaknesses than secure a HOF player at that position. Constantly changing the the QB is a recipe for upheaval and failure. RG3 just needs some time.

Also, congrats to him on RG4 ready to make his debut. :woot:
Agreed. I am a Raiders fan first Skins fan second but I think RG III can be a great QB for the Skins. I just think he needs to focus and I think the coach needs to play to his strength and not always always humiliate him in front of everyone like how he has been doing in the press. If they are to keep RG III they need to find a way to work together.

The Walking Dead is what I don't watch while waiting for Game of Thrones and Penny Dreadful to return.

The NFL would have to supply me with a lifetime subscription to the Walking Dead and the complete series on DVD for me to re-order my subscription to Sunday ticket that I cancelled in 2008. That's what I keep telling them when they call to offer me discount packages. Of course, that's after Roger Goodell and Jerome Boger are fired and the NFL gets some decent parking at the Hall of Fame.

It's nice to see folks around the league have faith in RGIII, but I think he needed some humiliation. He didn't seem to learn much from 2013 at all. Maybe Gruden could have been a little easier with the words, but I didn't have a problem with his intentions.

Griffin ran the previous coach out of the building, and I think Gruden was trying his best to avoid that situation.

The baby might help his maturity level as a player. Kids have a way of providing a larger awareness.

One would hope. A lot of people on social media and local sports radio were discussing that after he posted that picture on Facebook.

If he fixes his play on the field, he can do whatever he wants outside of football for all I care.

The Combine is this weekend??

Did you hear yesterday's interview on the Sports Fix?

The Chargers and Raiders are looking at a joint venture to build a new shared stadium just outside of LA. That would suck for Chargers fans. Personally, I like that there's a team in San Diego. They seem to have a pretty solid fanbase there too. It would be a shame for them to walk away from that.

So LA will go from 0 teams to 2. nice

I always think it's a huge black mark on the NFL they don't have a franchise in LA(although not sure having 2 teams there is a good idea as well)

That's if either doesn't end up staying in their respective cities. Plus the Rams are trying to move to a different location in L.A. and that seems like all but a done deal.

It makes more sense, in my opinion, for an NFC and an AFC to move there as opposed to two AFC teams.

I'm pretty sure the NFL would make these two switch conferences if this LA thing happens.

This is a political ploy. Mayor Faulkner will get the SD County Supervisor to jump on board with a luxury tax hike and there will be a new stadium for the Chargers, Aztecs, Holiday and Poinsettia Bowls.

So apparently Adrian Beatyourson may or may not have asked to be traded to Dallas.

Regardless of whether or not this is true, you would think that he would rather ask to be traded to a competitive team that actually needs his services, versus one that may already have the best RB in the league. Yeah, I know that supposedly Old Jerral is in love with Adrian, but I don't think he's stupid enough to just dump the back that damn near got his team to the Super Bowl last year. And while the prospect of signing the best TWO backs in the league is surely enticing, I don't think its very realistic from a salary cap perspective.

The NFL divisional alignment is pretty weird. Dallas is in the East even though they're farther west than St. Louis and farther south than Atlanta and Charlotte. I wouldn't be opposed to a change, but seeing those rivalries end would be the bummer.

Divisions are inherently and forever screwed up. I recall when the Falcons were in the NFC west with the Niners :whatever:

LA does not need two teams.

Doesnt matter if you put 2 or 10 teams in LA they wont be able to get the kind
Of fanbase there expecting, sure theyll have stars there in suites but after that i can always imagine seeing half full stadium.
