The Cowboys also got that phantom PI call that lead to a touchdown.

the difference is, we definitely know that call lost the game for us. Oh well.....

Yeah, Rodgers only would have had the 2 minute warning and timeouts. But really really good point.

I've been a Cowboy fan for 40+ years....watching them from an infant seat actually...lol And yes there were quite a few calls early in the Detroit game that were iffy, and I do not believe that that particular call lost the game for the Lions, they allowed 20 fast points at the end and that lost it for them.

In this case, I do believe that there was some thinking of "they got their call" last week. Who knows, but the game is over and it does stick just a little more because we know that that would have been a TD or at the least a FG, and a win.

That is how football goes....I've been there in the wins and loses, I thought this was our year, but it wasn't meant to be. :csad:
I think we have handled the loss at a tough play rather well. :o Especially being from Texas where football is a large part of life compared to some other regions

Kelly, how come when people try to troll Cowboys fans they use "Cowgirls" as an insult? Is this implicating women as lesser and inferior???

Well, I usually just look at the people throwing the insult and then realize, that is the norm for them...."stupid comments that are just thrown around to piss people off..." and I just shake my head and walk off. Kinda feel sorry for them actually....:cwink: That is the only way they are fulfilled.

He didn't lose the ball until he rolled on his back and it popped up and back into his arms. He maintained control as he hit the ground.

The defender tipped the ball. Bryant brought it down and it hit the ground and bounced off the ground and into his grasp.

That's the rule.

Are you saying there weren't any/more calls that put Detroit ahead early in the game? Seriously trying to be objective here. I get that there are people who hate all Cowboys fans, but us homegrown fans aren't as bad as the outside bandwagoners giving us a bad name ;)

Cowboy fans are usually much harder on their team the Monday after a loss on the radio....this will be one of the few losses where Romo doesn't get raked over the coals come tomorrow morning. :yay:

He lost control of the ball as soon as it slammed into the ground. That is why it moved. And not a little, but a lot. Come on now.

I agree, I'm not a boys fan either. I just think the playoffs are better with the Cowboys in it. I also am a fan of Dez, I just like his play he is soooooo damn good.

Trent Richardson is the worst trade my Colts have ever made. So bad, he is inactive today, and doesn't seem to be injured.

Inactive because of Suck.

No I meant in the Green Bay game.

Bad calls happened. That call with Bryant happened wasn't a bad call. It was the correct call according to the rules. Regardless if some fans believe it was BS.

It is quite ignorant, especially since the cowboys fans in a tough loss today have been rather fair and civil on here :o Really that cow[insults] garbage is played out and just small minded.

Actually he had total control of the ball the entire time until he tried to reach for the goal line....reaching for the goal line is what did it, had he tucked the ball he would have been fine.

Bad call or not, had he tucked the ball, the next play would have probably been a TD and the Cowboys would be headed for Seattle.

That is how the ball bounces.

But the fans here such as I (again from Texas) agree that it was the call according to the rules. Go back and read the posts.:shr:

Gotta grow some balls in the discussion of football. :cwink:

I disagree. He didn't have total control the whole entire time.

IMO, a ball that hits the ground in any way should be incomplete.

I was watching the game and I myself who is pretty unfamiliar with NFL rules saw clearly that the ball touched the ground before the Dallas player rolled over.

But as a Packers fan I could be biased. All in all I'm glad I watched the game. I don't know if I'll watch the next one because the Seahawks have been playing pretty well. I might watch, win or lose.

Yep, as I said in a previous post: Dez gambled for the score and should have thought more about possession. Yes it makes him a hero if he gets the TD, but a yard out... he can still be the hero as they punch it in

He is no doubt athletically gifted, but sometimes he makes mental mistakes. Oh well. Still a great WR.

Just read that post.

If you want to go why Cowboys are ridiculed. Blame the media. Blame Jerry Jones. Blame loud mouth football fans.

Are other teams like that? It feels like it's magnified with Dallas.

Reminds me of the Pats and Ravens game last night. A lack of intelligent WR play.

99% of the catch was made, but that lunge towards the endzone touched the ground and wiped out the catch. It was the right call (unfortunately)

The Cowboys had sustain success over a couple of periods and weren't exactly humble about it. That is why people don't like them. Its no big mystery. It happens with plenty of successful teams.

That's just bandwagon fans who get vocal as they have less real attachment. Saw the same thing from the now diminished Miami Heat fans in the NBA with Lebron. They said a bunch of garbage against the Spurs, and were annoyingly overly vocal with stupidity. Of course when the ship sunk and Lebron went back to Cavs, many of them left the Heat as "fans" lol
