Though a Cowboys fan, it could be a really good SB with GB. A Denver or Pats vs GB Superbowl would be a good watch imo.
I think success under Jerry Jones now will be the worst thing for Dallas. I was hearing it prior to the season. Interviews with Jones, and how he wants to be known as a football guy and it irks him that they attribute the success in the 90s to Johnson and not him.
I did at least appreciate Jones' loyalty to Romo though. I've always said Romo could have an amazing season with a better Defense and O-line. Detractors kept saying he threw late int's and ignored that he had to play from behind in most of those situations. Any QB, even a Brady or Manning will do the same thing. It was great season. 12-4 and a playoff win. Bow to the Romo![]()
Romo greatness comes with being asked to do less and toss that ball up to Dez. Putting him in a conversation with the likes of Manning and Brady is where you make it easy to point out his failure. They have had plenty of situations over the years late where they were fighting back and didn't throw stupid picks. Same with the likes of Rodgers, Elway, Montana, etc.I did at least appreciate Jones' loyalty to Romo though. I've always said Romo could have an amazing season with a better Defense and O-line. My boy Luck has already shown he is far better at it then Romo.
Well, he could have dropped him putting the blame on Romo as an out. He also could have dropped Jason as head coach, which many fans wanted. While he has made a ton of bad decisions, garnered too much control, and forced himself on sidelines...... he actually has shown bits of loyalty here and there. Of course reasons for that loyalty can surely be argued as wellThat man is only loyal to his bank account.
NiceAnd Luck learned it in Texas....![]()
Explain this chart if they haven't had that many chances to do it.They did not have to play from behind as much in a season as Romo. Brady has ended plenty of games when he did have to try and compensate with more risky throws (int's).
And like any smart Texas athlete, he got out as soon as he could. And Luck learned it in Texas....![]()
Well, that is something we will never know...![]()

We don't? The Cowboys defense couldn't even stop the packers vanilla offense from running out the clock. I think we know.
They have had chances for comebacks, but they haven't been as deep in the hole behind like Romo has with inferior o-line and defense.Explain this chart if they haven't had that many chances to do it.

That is either an insanely good strike rate, or they have had to come back quite a lot.
If Romo had so many chances, you'd expect more actual comebacks if he is as good as you seem to be implying.
Hey, to be fair the Packers could only get 26 points. Not like this was a shootout of epic proportions. Also, easier to move the ball with the lead then without it.We don't? The Cowboys defense couldn't even stop the packers vanilla offense from running out the clock. I think we know.
Except Peyton has had some really mediocre to bad defenses and plenty of crap O-lines. I know, I have watched every game he has ever played in the NFL.They have had chances for comebacks, but they haven't been as deep in the hole behind like Romo has with inferior o-line and defense.
Pretty sure that isn't him, but I am not sure.Tell me that dude in the Statefarm commercial ain't Rodgers.![]()
Luck of course....We have the lead. [BLACKOUT]I don't know how[/BLACKOUT], but I am not complaining.

And really, do you want to compare deep holes? I suggest looking up a certain Monday Night game against the Bucs.
Romo is a good QB, he isn't that good. Come on.
