That's awesome to see Manning and Luck's dads on the Houston Oilers together. Never knew that.

I am a Vols fan therefore, I am a big Peyton fan....so many don't necessarily take my resounding statements of his greatness too seriously, and that is ok :cwink:...but he is in a category of QB's such as Staubach, Montana, Aikman, and Brady. I say that not in the # of SB rings they have as much as their consistency of play, as well as their undeniable brains of the game. Romo could have a SB ring already, or could have gotten one this year, and I still would not put him in that particular category.

I know some will come back with...."but what about ________________________ and fill in the blank"....and all I can say is, maybe they will in time, OR if they are from the history books of football, then probably as a Dallas fan of decades, I just can't bring myself to put them in that category....lol, I'll admit it.

He missed that by a lot. Right before half, good field position for Denver.

As long as they are winning, I doubt they care.
True. Though I wonder if it adds a nice chip on the shoulder before the game. Make you play harder, to prove something.

Noodle Arm Peyton keeps on over throwing everyone. :funny:

We had a lot of battles with him. If he only understood that you need to throw the ball into the endzone with no time left, he could had a ring.
I was probably like 10 or 11 around the Superbowl with Titans and Rams. Didn't it come down to a tackle out of nowhere at the 1 1/2 yard line.

Out of no where? No. The miracle would have been getting into the endzone.

Well, he could have dropped him putting the blame on Romo as an out. He also could have dropped Jason as head coach, which many fans wanted. While he has made a ton of bad decisions, garnered too much control, and forced himself on sidelines...... he actually has shown bits of loyalty here and there. Of course reasons for that loyalty can surely be argued as well ;)

Jones also doesn't want a situation with Johnson or Parcells, not sure which one it was kicked him out of the players locker room.

There might be some loyalty cause he likes Jason, but he also doesn't want a coach who talks back. He wants a puppet.

True that.
