2015 was going to be one crowded year

Curiosity of them being together in the same movie can only go so far. If it sucks then its legs will be very short.
like every movie .....everytime? correct? :cwink:

WB will throw at a minimum 150 millions into the marketing. this will be aggressive marketing. WB knows that in 2012 the only reason they got a big opening was because they promoted MOS everywhere as much as they could.

i think B/S will destroy Antman into the ground. like the terraforming device.

I think so too but Ant Man isn't expected to be a mega grosser, it might not even make half of what Superman/Batman will do.

Ant Man doesn't have to do gangbusters to be successful. It's budget will probably be somewhat smaller than other Marvel movies. It only needs a couple of good weeks to be successful.
The fact that Ant-Man is remotely linked to the MCU and the Avengers is enough to create a really big draw.

how cute. Antman in july is a mistake. Antman 2 weeks before Batman/Superman is idiotic.

because Marvel made some good movies some will now try to act that batman/superman is just another summer action movie? B/S this movie will be big...........as big as it can be.

It's actually 3 weeks after Superman/Batman.

3 weekends but Superman/Batman plays for only 2 weeks in total before Antman opens.

If Superman/Batman is a huge success. Given that MoS was no Avengers, had distinctly mixed WoM, you can't exactly assume a huge jump in sales.

antman im thinkin like a 140mill budget like the first cap movie.so if it does like 150 or 170mill domestic they be happy with it.edgar wright has made a movie yet that made over a 100mill though that worries me

That's a lot of money for a movie about a C or D list character and for a director who's highest worldwide gross to date was $80 million.

When is Transformers 4 supposed to be coming out?
March 6th Fantastic FOur Reboot
May 1st The Avengers : Age of Ultron
June 19th Assasins Creed
June 26th Terminator
July 3rd Independance Day 2
July 10th Pirates of tthe Carribbean 5
November 6th Antman and Bond 24
November 20th Hunger Games
Is this confirmed or just internet speculation?

Word of mouth is impossible to measure. I mean just look at the imdb/rt audience scores. Then there is the fact that it out grossed all the Marvel solo films...someone must have enjoyed it.

A jump in sales seems like a given.

I plan to wait for Netflix to watch Superman/Batman.
After X-3 and Origins, I decided that I'd wait for the Netflix for 2 good X-films in a row before I paid for another one in theaters. The jury is still out since I haven't seen The Wolverine.
In the case of DC...I didn't like The Dark Knight Rises and hated both Green Lantern and Man of Steel...so it is going to take a small miracle for them to get me back into a theater.

Transformers 4 comes out next year, and the Terminator release date is confirmed.

It will be a huge success. You can't expect a huge jump in sales with a movie starring both Batman and Superman on screen together for the first time? Please. My sister doesn't like Superman and wasn't interested in watching MoS, but when I told her about the S/B movie she immediately said she'll watch it when it comes out. Just an example. MOS didn't have to be Avengers, since it grossed more than all of the phase 1 Marvel movies. S/B will be the next step and the true money maker.

thats even worse. before S/B it could made some money. after it will not have time to even breath

How so? It is competing with Tim Burton's Peregrine's Home for Peculiars that weekend and currently nothing is slated for September except for Hotel Transylvania 2. More movies will undoubtedly be added to September, but I'm just referring to this point in time. AoU will be fresher on peoples' minds, so using that movie to promote Ant-Man would be a great marketing move as well.

they really, really should include a stinger for Ant Man at the end of Avengers 2...let absolutely everyone know that the next chapter is coming, and can't be missed.

I'm not even anticipating it right now, even with Edgar Wright directing.

Right now I'm looking forward to:

Star Wars 7
Avengers 2
WF
Bond 24
MI5
Finding Dory

There's probably some that I'm missing though.

In no specific order except for the top 3:

WF
AOU
Episode 7
Warcraft
MI5
Pitch Perfect 2
Inside Out
Ant-Man
Fantastic Four

Pitch Perfect 2? Come on. :o

Oh and I can't wait to see Tom Cruise run again. He's going to run slowly with the heavy suit in Edge of Tomorrow. So that's why I'm anticipating MI5. :o

Dude, Pitch Perfect was great! So hilarious.

lol, they just need a movie with nothing but Tom sprinting. It would SMASH the BO.

Honestly though, MI5 is probably going to be sick. I thought Jack Reacher was really good so I'm looking forward to how Mcquarrie is with MI.

I thought I was the only one who noticed how he runs in like all of his movies. Lol

I haven't seen Jack Reacher yet, I'll check it out eventually.

Guy's name should be Tom Sprint. I never see him cruising.
