2015 was going to be one crowded year

Thanks for taking my kind and heartfelt words, then sweeping them under the rug like yesterday's trash with a damn anyways. :o

Honestly, I think Terminator and Jurassic World have the most chances of sucking. With Snyder on S/B, Whedon on AoU, Abrams on SW7, Wright on Ant-Man, Trank on Fantastic Four and Jones on Warcraft, I feel that they will all put their best foots forward in their respective films. Nothing but confidence in these movies, on my part. That's very different from most years, for me.

Out of those directors, people probably have the least confidence in Snyder.

I agree, but personally, the fact that he's directing this movie has me over the moon. Guy's perfect for this, like JJ is for Episode 7.

I trust him too. I liked MOS, but WF has a lot of potential too suck. IDK why I have that feeling when I thought Snyder and Goyer did a good job with MOS. (aside from a few stupid things.)

It definitely does, but fortunately, that potential goes both ways. I think that Affleck being involved has me more at ease, I can't see him not pitching in for the script.

I hope that WF is a lot more fun and a little less pretentious.

I agree, when MOS is fun, it's fun, but it was too pretentious at times and that makes the movie sort of drag for me at certain parts. But I do want more majesty in the DCCU than there is in the MCU. I want them to take things more seriously than in the MCU, but at the same time, make it more fun than MOS was. MOS was a great start but it can always be improved.

MOS was pretty pretentious at times. It wasn't even that much fun, but overall I liked the movie.

Batman and Superman should be a fun experience. Banter like Kirk and Spock or Cap and Iron Man can have some funny moments.

Well I'm out.

(Yup, Maooz needs sleep for school.)

Really? The fights were so much fun for me. That's what I've always wanted to see in live-action cbm battles. Something on that level that only Snyder's realized so far. I want their banter to be fun, but I want them to have deep and meaningful, philosphical conversations as well. That's what I wanted from Whedon, but he kept it relatively light when it came to conversation.

Okay, 'night man.

Okay, 'night man.

The fights were cool, but it wasn't really that fun. Action blockbusters that take themselves seriously and aren't super pretemtious like Abrams' Trek are fun.

I ain't gonna sleep yet!

I edited my post, and regarding the sleep, all right! :funny:

I agree completely with Abrams' Trek. They need to strike that type of balance.

Well anyways, I'm pumped for MI5. I'd rather watch that than the other big Spy flick in 2015 TBH.

I wonder what they'll do this time, and I hope they bring Simon Pegg back.

I agree, I'm not much of a Bond guy myself. Can't even begin to think of what they will do, but I hope Pegg returns too.

Ethan Hunt needs to save the head of the Church of Scientology. :o

Oh yeah, I'm not that big on Bond either. I liked Skyfall and CR though.

Me too. I find that I can watch the Bond movies a first time, but I don't like sitting through them for rewatches. As a matter of fact, it ties into what we were talking about in regards to movies taking themselves too seriously. I know it's inherent for Bond to be taken seriously, but the movies don't feel fun enough for me to want to watch again and again.

Oh, I thought CR and Skyfall were fun. The thing is some movies obviously work with a fully serious tone, but MOS specifically could have loosened up a bit.

Really? Finding the fun in the Bond movies for me is like trying to find Waldo. Except Waldo packed up and left a long time ago without telling me.

I actually thought Skyfall was kinda fun, so was CR. Nice comic relief and cool action sequences. Felt pretty adventurous to me.

IDK tho.

Yeah, I will watch Bond 24. It's rewatches I'm concerned about, because I don't expect it to change its tone. And it shouldn't, because it has an established tone and an audience that loves it. Something I'm wondering about is Spongebob 2. Do kids still enjoy Spongebob like that? My niece does, but does he still 'have it'?

I never really was into Spongebob TBH. It does seem like not that many kids are interested in Spongebob though.

IDK tho.

I used to love Spongebob, but it seems like he's had a decline in popularity over the years. It's the only cartoon that's still on from the 90's though, and as a 90's baby, I respect that.

I think kids watch more CN cartoons now like Adventure Time.

Now that needs a movie. It's the 'Spongebob' of the new generation. And I wouldn't be disappointed if Assassin's Creed got delayed. Not at all.

Tintin 2 might come out in 2015. I loved the first but that's probably not coming out in 2015 either.
