2022 Super Bowl LVI Sunday | Trailers & TV Spots

Super Bowl is a prime time for dropping trailers and tv spots for both highly antecipated films and series. SB LVI will be played on Sunday, February 13, 2022.

Eastern Standard Time - 06:30 - 10:45 ?
Central European Time - 03:30 - 07:45 ?

Since there’s a lot of interest in which trailers and tv spots might be coming out and plenty of speculation to match I thought it would be good to open a thread to discuss, gather and post such releases so it’s easier for everyone interested to check out all the stuff coming out.

Interestingly enough a lot of studios have already released several trailer and tv spots before the event even took place. I wonder what will be coming out on the day and it should be really interesting to follow the releases.

Downtown Abbey: A New Era from Universal has had a trailer rated recently.
Nope also from Universal has a trailer coming out.
The Lord Of The Rings series is also releasing a trailer.

Feel free to add more stuff. I am also not sure about the exact time of the SB and when the trailers/tv spots normally drop, but those who know could give an insight on that.

(We already got that 1 minute sizzle reel for the DC proprieties)

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness TV Spot (Marvel tends to drop a TV Spot for their May releases)
Disney+ Sizzle Reel (Seems very likely to me since they did the same last year, this time around with Moonknight, She Hulk and Ms Marvel)
Obi-Wan Trailer (Since we already got the poster it seems like the trailer is gonna drop)

Obi-Wan Kenobi Spot (I think we will get the trailer)
Moon Knight Spot (Doesn't make much sense to release an exclusive TV Spot for MK because the trailer didn't come out that long ago. Now part of a sizzle reel with other stuff makes more sense.)

They are holding Kenobi close to the vest.
I think the Big Disney Plus thing today is going to be Moon Knight, which is up next for them.

I was today years old when I found out we were getting a Firestarter remake and the trailer basically gave you the whole movie.

Anyway, I hope we get something for Multiverse of Madness.

Some of these can't really be categorized as SB TV Spots/trailers simply because they are not being released during the show. Anyways they come out roughly around the same time/date so i'm including them here. I'll be posting a full updated and accurate list later.

I'm sure a $7 mil TV spot is nothing for Universal and Paramount, but still...save SOMETHING for the game. Part of the fun of watching the Super Bowl was anticipating which trailers would be seen during the commercial breaks and this takes the mystery away.

Taika Waititi is actually at the game so take it with a grain of salt but I'm not holding out much hope for a Thor trailer if we already got Doctor Strange and Moon Knight.
