That final shot could have been done with Legos and the same people defending now it would have still loved it.

I can't wait for this film. But the Super Bowl trailer was just ok and the final shot looked unfinished because it WAS unfinished. It's not the actual shot we would see if that scene makes it in. The CG will be much better.

i'm sorry, but that last part, with the tank, looked as if it was graphics from a computer game.

it was really dissapointing, because the rest of the trailer, and the previous one, have only impressed me.

the tank moment, however, let the whole thing down.

He's not kill crazy like The Punisher but he doesn't go out of his way to make sure the villains/bad guys survive if you know what I mean.

Anyone else think that the final shot some are whining about is nothing but a battle simulation to test the Mark III?

Either way, it looked great to me. Without that scene, the teaser would've had less impact. Too many cut scenes without a payoff only works for the ADD crowd. The launch and then "ping" on the tank grabed everyone's attention and the explosion over the bad ass pose sealed the deal. 97 MILLION people saw that and I bet over 80% off them went, "Ooooooooooo...that looks cool" even though most have no idea about Iron Man as a character.

I've been getting the same reaction from people I work with, all saw the commercial and said it looked incredible and are all looking forward to the movie.

When I saw that trailer during the superbowl, I was like...nice. Then I saw the tank scene and said ugh. Yes, I noticed how CGIsh that scene looked. It reminded me of the Iron Man videos at MarvelKids.com. I could not believe my eyes. I saw how good the other CGI images looked and can't figure out how they would release that. It looked fake or should I say poor? C'mon, lets keep it real, it looked bad and doesn't make sense. Hope they fix that. The movement was not robotic as it should have been. It was too smooth and cartoonish in movement.

I actually thought the CGI in the last shot was amazing. The lighting is perfect on the iron man's suit but i'll admit the tank could use some work. And don't get me wrong, I've seen Transformers, I know what good CGI looks like.

it was maybe filmed.and when looking at teh footage they couldnt make the lifhgintg right.i dont know what happened.

but it is a CGI iron man.
