The Dark Knight Rises The Dark Knight Rises TV Spots Thread

Batman.

Geeze, this has been way too much footage being shown. Now there's like a "5th" trailer of sorts? Man. I can't do this anymore!!

batman,... dunno they just looked like lazy kicks, i guess the 2nd kick is kindaa understandable but still kinda lazy and first one definitely slow

O damn he's finally kicking again and it looks bad? is one of the kicks atleast a kick to the face?

That first leg kick and the last leg kick look lame but oh well.

The kicks look fine geez what are you talking about. The last one is pretty funny, remind me of Tom Cruise in Collateral when he no look shoots the guy on the ground.

Nothin' wrong with the kicks, slow and lame? Are you sure you're just not watching the slow-mo-ed, out of context gifs?

This always seems to trick people :hehe: watching any fight slo-mo, out of context and constantly repeated makes them look terrible.

The kick at the end was awesome. I love the swagger.

People just like to ***** and whine. The kick looked great. So nonchalant. Batman is like the honey badger. He don't give a ****! He'll just kick you in the face!

It was like an afterthought. :hehe:

Blake: You missed a spot. (or whatever he said)
Batman: Oh, this **** here?

Funny spot, I love when he says I've seen worse cartilage in knees then says that's because there is no cartilage in your knee.

Bruce has a new excuse Heli-Skiing

Bruce's reaction to the diagnose is funny, good stuff from Bale there.

He looked like the dumb kid who got told that he can't have candy anymore. It was awesome.

I'm SO happy T.Lennon gets a cameo. Really excited for that scene

the kick isn't really a kick. the kid cop says you missed someone joking. batman walks over him slightly kicking him thats why the kick looks weak to some people here who don't see it in context of the film. the thug slightly gets up and batman boots him down walking over him.

I'm kind of confused though;

The filmmakers and everyone else have gone out of their way to say on how TDKR takes place 8 years right after the events of TDK, and the last time that we saw Bruce in TDK, he didn't look like someone that had so much physical damage afflicted on him in the manner that the doctor was mentioning in that recently released TV Spot. Nor did Bruce look like someone who was hurt enough where he needs to use a cane at the start of TDKR.

I mean, unless Bruce still kept up as Batman for a few months after TDK and got seriously injured from having been chased by GPD several times, I don't know how he could be so banged up like that if he supposedly quit right after TDK.

All those injuries could have been accumulated in the events of TDK alone. He fell over 10 stories. That can cause cartilage damage and kidney damage. As for brain tissue damage look at all the stuff he's been through in BB and TDK. His injuries are consistent with what he went through in both those films. Hell look at his back at the beginning of TDK. Bruce took a beating during the previous two films.

The doctor visit is probably after he gets beaten by Bane and had many failed attempts at climbing the pit.

That's true, though he didn't display any signs of those said injuries having a strain on his body or health at the time.

Idk; it kind of feels like this happens before Bruce suits up as Batman again to take on Bane for the first time; if anything, I'd bet that this is the same hospital that Gordon's in while he's recuperating from his injuries from his encounter with Bane.
