24 Spin-Off Series??

Well, that'll be put to the test next season. ;)

we still have Jack. he's more than enough to make a series great. but take both of them? naaah...

some people want to convince themselves that the star of the show is the format. oh, how wrong they are...

a 24 movie wouldnt be a bad idea, wouldnt you want to see a prequel movie about Operation Nightfall (where Jack and a group of people are sent to kill Victor Dresen).

That would be a cool movie...

In your opinion it wouldnt work....

but in the minds of the shows cast and crew and fans of the show....

it can work!

so in other words, it has nothing to do with '24' in the way that it has absolutely nothing to do with the concept of the show, infact, it defeats the purpose of the whole concept of the show. Calling it a 24 movie is not the way to explain it, that is for sure.

seems to me like it would be taking the Star, out of a Star Trek movie (that's a metaphor)

it can still have the timefactor by the time appearing at the bottom, making it still 24, but not in real time....

it can be a two hour movie in which the story takes place in one day, in 24 hours. with Jack Bauer in it. with the clock, and split screens, and everything.

24 The Game didn't actually last 24 hours, but it captured the soul of the show like few games based on other media do.

Yeah, but wasn't the whole point of the show that it was in real time (or as close to it as they could get). Isn't that the core concept of the show?

I think it could work if it was a 2 hour movie, that followed the 24 crew for a crazy 2 hours.

yes, but it has been proved that that concept can be bended without escaping the essence. it was done perfectly in the videogame and it can be done in a movie.

specially considering that a movie can bring us things we never could have on the show. we could finally get out of LA (specially if it was a 2 hour movie spanning 24 hours), we could have some HUGE, and I do mean HUGE, action scenes, we could have some characters back, in case of an Operation Nightfall prequel movie...

a 2 hour making of documentary? naaah, that's small potatoes.

a video game is not a movie.

where are you getting documentary from, re read my post with a more open mind, and vocabulary

no, but it is an example of the essence of the tv show being transfered to another medium.

a movie that follows the crew of a tv show. sounds like a documentary making of. unless by "crew" you meant "characters".

and honestly, a 2 hour movie than spanned two hours would be even more pointless. it'd be a complete and total waste of opportunity.

as is a two hour movie which follows a day, which is based on a show whose primary conceptual element is to be in real time.
