Homecoming 2's Company, 3's A Lounge - Part 6

The LOTR films are exhausting indeed, but they are worth every minute at the end.

Part of me wants to rematch all the films before BOFA comes out, but I don't know when I'd ever find the time. :whatever:

I can barely get through one of the films. After 2 hours, I'm gonna get bored and do something else. Like nap.

I could never watch the LOTR films due to the combination of them being too long, my ADHD, and never having time to watch them.
I have reasons to thin I have ADHD, that's one reason I watch a movie in segments.

I know the struggle.

Every weekend I make it a goal to watch a film or two. Instead, I end up watching nothing, and add more films to my list.

I thought I remembered you saying you had seen it, but Interstellar will change that for you.

TMN-****ing-T!!! YEAHH!!!!

I'mma think about it. Right now I'm working on a thing.

Elaborate?

An original story.

It's mostly just an idea right now, but I'm working on it. It started off as a thought about a fan-fic based around teenaged mutants (going to normal schools rather than Xavier's School) who don't use their powers for villainy, heroics, or even anything personal - just fun.

I was thinking about dropping the mutant thing and just making an original thing, but I felt like I'd be ripping off Chronicle (which, honestly, is an inspiration)... so I'm on the fence.

Also, I just really like thinking about what I'd do if I had superpowers, so it's kinda inspired by that.

When you said "just fun," Chronicle came to mind.

But yeah, you could still add your own twist to it and make it your own. Writers are inspired by stories they like, so if Chronicle triggers ideas for you, go for it.

I've gathered by now that you have quite a creative mind

:woot:

The biggest difference from Chronicle (so far) is that the powers aren't telekinesis, and that the powers are publicly used at times (**** secrets :funny:). I'm gonna work on it a lot so it isn't all that similar, that's the real struggle. :oldrazz:

Yeah, I think I do... it's just, I get so many ideas that I never finish them.

That's definitely a first :funny:

But there you go, it's little discrepancies like that which writers use to create more stories. Definitely let me know where you go with this!

I know what that's like; that's a sign of a creative mind. I used to do creative writing and stand-up poetry.

A part unknown about Ben, you might say :oldrazz:

I sure will, WGP. :)

Stand-up poetry? Nice. Poetry's cool! :woot:

So, Ferguson is ridiculous. Part of me thinks we'll never see justice done.
