3D movies that's not worth the 3D?

On your first sentence, finally learning the difference. Kudos.

Some people love black and white because they think it adds in more of a dramatic flair which color gets rid of.

Some people love color because it includes all of the details we see, however it does get rid of some of the aspects of black and white.

3D vs. 2D is basically the same argument as which is better B&W or color.

That is called 3d display. Sorry but its still not available.

I was stating how 3D gives depth perception to a flat image and you said it's not there.

Because of that to me is a low quality product. Nobody should accept to see movies in such a bad condition.

That's not your decision to make. I fully accept that some people aren't fans of 3-D, but to suggest that those who do like it are simply wrong and should come around to your way of thinking is condescending.

You said "you know how we see things in the real world"

I am an extremely technical guy :woot:

We dont see things as distorted as stereoscopic photography captures it. Off course there is an illusion of depth. With 3d display we will see exactly how we see things in the real world.

And you also said "seeing where objects are in relationship to each other"

You can't differentiate the space in 2d photography ?....c'mon !! Now that's being biased

I know it's not my decision. It's an opinion.

The illusion I'd say is like looking through a window which is what really works for me. I know others think that's not enough, but that's what I love 3D for. Not everything needs to soar out at you but seeing that depth brings a lot to it.

It's there, but I'd say it's as there (slight exaggeration, but it makes the point) as much as color is present in black and white and being able to tell what the colors are.

what i noticed with post converted 3D movies is that they are very smart. mean and smart. they focus all the money and time on the first half of the movie. your brain notices bad 3D at the beginning. then it adjusts. so i nthe last half of the movie they start saving with the money. they spend less time and less money on good converted 3D. since its been already over 1 hour you dont notice it.
but you can. take of your glasses. and you see how sharp the image is. sometimes its not even in 3D.

so again we have a problem. its not that the movies are in 3D. but that they dont f.. film them with the Vince Pace cameras. over 10 years was spend on making a rig that can be used for blockbusters. you can use them in close ups, steady cam,car rigs, shaky cam. everywhere. the rigs are designed to survive a Michael Bay movie. but NO. lets post convert the movie. noone will notice that the nose on the actors is not in 3D. f... hair in 3D just use a 2D plane with transparency.

Gi Joe retaliation did 3d very smartly. During the action and stuff only the explosion particles and bullets were coming out at you. The people never did. That helps with seeing the action big time
