Spider-Man 3 wouldn't be the end of the series, just the end of Raimi's job as director.

mmm do you have any link to his spoilers? I would like to read something about Venom... if Campbell is the "vellien" well... I guess he'll have a very small role, beaten very easily just like in the game, when Spidey knocks him with one punch.... I loved that part

Spider-Man 3 wouldn't be the end of the series, just the end of Raimi's job as director.

Why would Mysterio need a back story? He'd probably just get a cameo treatment, like the snooty usher in SM 2.

Besides, it's called comic relief. There's plenty of it in the Spider-Man series.

I am glad with Spidey 3 being the lastn movie. I dont want it to turn into next Batman movies or Superman from the past century.

It would be much better with excellent trilogy of one very good director than next saga ala James Bond or Batman, which was ruined.

As I can predict, 20 years later Sony will start Spidey franchise with new beginning and with new director again.
