Raimi has said before that he's only going to do three films.

Spider-Man 3 wouldn't be the end of the series, just the end of Raimi's job as director.

Raimi said that he is enjoying creating Spider-Man movies and if Sony would have him back after this one he would most likely be delighted.

the rest of the cast, however, is up for grabs.

Dunst has been quoted as saying she wants to avoid being stapled as MJ throught her entire career....and Tobey's fiance just had their baby (or is still pregnant...i can't remember)

Don't expect this to be the last film unless they say so! Even then, somebody else will pick up where raimi left off...theres too much money to just stop making Spider-Man movies! Sometimes i wish they'd just let sequels be, but the company's dont care when they're bound to get more money, even if it ruins the series.

Mysterio can have a cameo, just appear for a fight or something real quick, like a lot of villains in the video games, you fight them for 5 minutes and they're done, no explanation needed. If they have Mysterio, thats how he should be done.

While the Lizard is still a possibility, I doubt he will be in the film, just for the reason that he would take too much screen time.

Chances are he'll be a cameo within the first 10 minutes of the movie. No backstory given on him, just some guy dressed like him getting thwarted by Spidey.

Or part of a Montage that explains what's been going on with EmoParker since Spiderman 2.
