I can't believe we're finally down to 9 days! I must admit the wait for this movie has been much easier than the wait for the first one.

TASM2 was one of the legit waits for me. I didn't necessarily wait for TASM's release but more so the blu-ray. Following every inch of production for TASM2 was fun and an experience. SHH was definitely a part of that.

TASM2 was one of the legit waits for me. I didn't necessarily wait for TASM's release but more so the blu-ray. Following every inch of production for TASM2 was fun and an experience. SHH was definitely a part of that.

There's several reasons why imo the wait for ASM2 was smoother and felt shorter. I think the excitement around here was helpful along with the seemingly constant barrage of news worthy topics and the rumor mill was pretty constant. The marketing was much more aggressive from Sony this time so footage was rolling out the doors almost every day, well, sorta lol. Compared to ASM, it sure felt that way. There was only a period of about 4-5 months where things were slow between SDCC and the first trailer whereas with ASM it was more like 8 months.

Sequel excitement definitely helped, yes. And is it just me or were the rumors this time around feel absolutely ridiculous? Well maybe it was just that Jim Carrey one haha. And nah you're right. Last month there was a point where we're getting stuff everyday. Haha I wasn't complaining.
Not gonna lie, I'm glad I wasn't there for TASM's drought. However, TASM2's 4-5 monther was my first drought and that sucked lol.
