The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (500) Days of Waiting for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" - Part 1

I would go to the midnight showing, but I will be on campus when the film comes out. In order to get to the movies, I need to take a shuttle bus that takes me into the city, and it stops running around midnight.

No big deal though, I'm seeing it on May 2nd, probably early-mid afternoon. :D
Ah gotcha. How long's the shuttle ride?

It's definitely a unique experience and something you gotta do at least once I think.

I'll consider myself lucky if I get to see the movie opening day. Right now it's looking like May 4th or 5th will be my earliest chance to see the movie.
Why's that? Work?

I saw TDKR at the midnight premier, and it was a pretty bad experience. I kept fighting to stay awake.

Oh wow. You're quite off from the city. When's your last day of school again?

I don't end until May 16th. But the trip into the city is worth it to see the movie. I will have class on May 2nd until about 12:00pm, so immediately after I'm getting on a bus and heading to see TASM2!

Yeah. Between my job and my family it can be tough sometimes to go do 'what I wanna do.' I didn't get to see ASM until about two weeks after the release. I don't think that will happen again though, it was a combination of getting some good OT at work and my little girl being sick. Those kinds of things take precedence over a movie, ya know? My wife felt really bad that I had to wait that long for ASM so we're gonna try to see ASM2 opening day. I'm hoping.

Ah I see. Understood. Correct me, but you're a firefighter? Balancing something like that and a full family must be no joke. Props, man.

Yep.

Balancing something like that and a full family must be no joke. Props, man.

It can be difficult at times but my wife is wonderful. Very understanding and patient. And working 24 hour shifts has its ups and downs. It's very manageable to have both the job and be there for your family...it comes down to priorities.

If you're a firefighter… *RESPECT*

:)

I second that.:yay:

Thanks fellas.

This and the Venom arc inspired the story of Amazing Spider-Man the movie
Peter and Connors working together on what Peter's dad and his friend were working on

We're so close guys, I'm not even tripping. It's just March that's a long month but once April hits, it's cool.

Connors mistake was huge
Peter's blood, made a monster, merged with his dad's DNA

March will go by fast for me at least. I have 3 weeks to work on my senior project, then Spring Break comes in. April will be tough depending on the reviews coming in.

Same. March will be a quick month for me, lots to keep me busy. I agree that April will be good or bad depending on the reviews.
