The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (500) Days of Waiting for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" - Part 1

20 days to go
20 days to go
Listen to my whatever tone
20 more days to go
:oldrazz:

Now that less than a month remain, I think it's safe to look forward to this movie

It's always crazy when we get this close to a movie to think back and realize how far we've come. This time last year they were still filming.

My company has Good Friday off this week :yay:
That'll make the second to the last week of real wait easier.

I have off from school this coming week. so that will make it go faster for me, and then when I go back we'll only be 11 days away!:woot:

Ah that's rad.
The week of I don't mind waiting despite it possibly being the slowest week.

I got confirmation that I'll be able to see ASM2 on May 5th. I know that sounds like bad info but it could have been worse. I'm stoked I don't have to wait much longer after May 2nd to go see it.

Ah. Well here's a first time you're looking forward to a Monday! Haha.

All this news about more villains and spin-offs has me worried.

Spider-Man should not be defined by the villains he fights but instead by his personal conflicts.

What has made the Goblin such an enduring character was the tie between Peter and Harry's friendship.

What made Venom and interesting villain was the build up of how the suit was created by tapping into Peter's darker and more selfish instincts.

Doc Ock is someone much more intelligent than Peter and the appeal of their feud came from Peter rising up to out smart Octavius.

Sony has my money regardless but I feel they are going too 90's Batman with this and making it a villain show and tell. I hope they have learned from Spider-Man 3

Well Spider-Man has a huge rogue's gallery and a great one at that, so I think villain-centric films can work. For Venom, I think it'll be great if they make sure to focus on his relationship with Spider-Man first before giving him solo adventures.

So the movie opens up in London at midnight? 12am in London is what time EST?
