Seriously, "The Avengers" can pretty much blow, for all I care. I don't believe in the essence of Thor, in the way he was portrayed in the movie, however I did find it to be better than Cap-A; a superhero I'm simply finding to be exstremely lame, sorry to say. The Hulk can go screw, seeing how it's not Ed Norton playing him in Avengers (LAAAAAME!), and than there's Iron Man. The first movie was great. The second, not so much... All in all, I'm very little excited about Avengers, I really am. The only thing to be excited about, is seeing these heroes come together in one flick. It's the same with "The Expendables". it was seeing these old action veterans united in the same flick, that made it worth a watch. But take the cast away, and what do you have? Nothing we haven't seen before. Nothing at all. I'm betting "The Avengers" at its core won't be any better than say "X-Men" - and more than likely, it won't even top that one.
Than there's the upcoming Spiderman movie, and I FREAK! I can't ****ing wait for this one! I love where it's going. I love the pics I'm seeing. I love the cast (Garfield will hit it out of the park, I'm sure of it!). I love the style. I'm very optimistic about the choice of director, and the story has serious potential of being GREAT indeed! I truly hope it'll be a roller-coaster ride build of pure emotion! I love the character, and love that the focus will be on this one little nerdy kid next door. Unlike, say "The Avengers", which will no doubt be a CGI-fest beyond believe, with cool action and a more than likely heartless and hollow story to back it up with. No! Spidey is a superhero movie build in the way I love them. As is Nolans Bat movies, and Snyders 2013 Superman flick (i'm sure).
Bring on the next Spidey trailer! I'm burning up here!
