DC does it again.......They blow everything up and still fail to capitalize fully....I mean what's beyond Earth 2? Is there still a Kingdom Come Earth? Could there be??

Could we find out that the Pre-Flashpoint earth still exists but is now earth 32 or something??? Would that make fans of the old earth happy?

The amount of stories that they could be writing is huge! But all they focus on is one world. Comics based on those other earths.........nice. The old Ted Kord Blue Beetle could still exist.

Most of the worlds established by 52 should still be intact asides from Earth-13 and Earth-50 because they merged with New Earth to form Prime-Earth. Earth-2 was affected by the changes as well but others such as Earth-One, Earth-12's DCAU, Earth-16's Young Justice, and Earth-31's Frank Miller's Dark Knight universe appear to be completely unaffected. And focusing on one world dude? DC has Earth-2, World's Finest, and another book to detail what is going on with Earth-2. We have the Earth One line of graphic novels for Earth-1. Grant Morrison still plans on doing Multiversity and his run on Action Comics showed all sorts of universes.

Also having the pre-Flashpoint DCU would make absolutely no sense to be in existence in the multiverse. Flashpoint specifically showed the pre-Flashpoint New Earth merging with the WildStorm Universe and the Vertigo Universe. They specifically showed it no longer existing.

But you and I both know that "gone" doesn't mean "gone", in comics.

We can only hope.
I'm sure DC is well aware that the the multi-verse could most certainly be the escape hatch for this current mess....whether it makes sense or not.

True, but Flashpoint wasn't just editorialy gone but also story wise. The Flash by running really fast in conjuction with Pandora merged all the universes together. They can split and i sense they will be in another Crisis story. But Flashpoint existing along with the New 52 doesn't make sense.

I don't think he was talking about the Flashpoint Universe, I'm pretty sure he was talking about the DCU that existed before the New 52. Flashpoint specifically showed that New Earth merged with Earth-13 and Earth-50 to create Prime Earth. The only way New Earth can return is if they split Prime Earth.

So the old DCU is called "New Earth"? What we have now is called "Earth Prime"? "whew??

It's Prime Earth, not Earth-Prime. Prime Earth is a combination of New Earth, Earth-13, and Earth-50. The only way the pre-New 52 DC Universe can come back is if DC has an Infinite Crisis styled event that recreates the multiverse which recreated Earth-X, Earth-S, Earth-4, and Earth-2 to a certain degree in COIE. A new universe recreation would be needed to somewhat recreate the old DC Universe.

I think the multiverse is gradually going to be reintroduced. The way they've been doing it so far with Prime Earth, Earth One, Earth 2 and now Earth 3 hasn't been half bad. We even got a glimpse into Earth 23. It has given the multiverse some level of importance again like in the silver age.

Not All the earths in the multiverse have been revealed yet, so why couldn't it be possible to have an earth that very closely resembles the same old pre 52 universe, with some changes that justify it being designated a new universe?
