The rest I could care less about. This relaunch is actually making me buy less DC, just because I don't care about the creative teams or characters on most of this stuff.

Nope. There was the issue zero that was meant as a lead-in to this one, and Rucka/Williams run on Detective Comics. That's all the Batwoman there's been since 52.

There was also the Crime Bible mini-series. Although the Question (Renee) was the protagonist of that still.

I really don't. If Rucka were still onboard, sure, it'd be a no-brainer. But I don't really trust anyone else with being able to handle a character as easy to f*** up as Batwoman. Hell, I hated Batwoman under Rucka himself for a good, long while.

If there are rave reviews and everyone's claiming Williams is doing just as well as Rucka ever could, I may pick up the trade(s) and catch up. But I'm not willing to automatically buy it from the start as a matter of course.

I doubt it will ever match the quality of Rucka's run, just based on the Batwoman #0 issue. But I'll still give it a shot.

I think I'm expanding my list to include Nightwing. I read an interview with Kyle Higgins about it on Newsarama and it sounds interesting. Plus, I like Dick and now he'll be free of Damian. Whee!

Higgins seems a pretty solid writer thus far.

You should consider Swamp Thing, too. I know we just got him and it might not seem the most interesting thing in the world, but c'mon, if Snyder and Paquette can't make it good, no one can. That team pretty much screams "this book will be awesome."

Yeah, I might pick it up. I never read Rucka's Batwoman stuff outside of 52, and the only other Batwoman I've really been exposed to is in recent issues of Batman, Inc. But it's probably worth it just for the artwork.
