You are one of those people who tries to come off as deep and insightful by making vague comments and quoting Descartes, but in reality there is no depth to your commentary. It is the same crap you can hear from any college freshman who took intro to philosophy and now sits in coffee shops til 4 am ranting for whoever will buy into his bull****.

I have never tried to bolster some kind of illusory persona. If you maintain that I have, great, you're wrong, and I say you're a child molester. See how you can make accusations that are 100% BULLS*** ?! (I hope)




As dorky as it is, unfortunately, people throw words around so much that the impression they give becomes much more potent than the originally intended meaning behind them, so it can sometimes serve you well, sadly, to look at the actual definition of a word.




Philosophy is a discipline comprising as its core logic, aesthetics, ethics, metaphysics, and epistemology.

I am interested in all that stuff, but in my pursuit of knowledge, there is no externally defined "discipline", so yes, very correct, I'm not enrolled at any university or employed as a teacher of "Philosophy". I'm sorry you feel the need to get so petty with words here, but, it's your nature. *shrug*


Next definition, "the pursuit of wisdom".
Whelp, you're wrong again. I pursue wisdom, every single day. This has been brought into focus by the fact that I was a binge-drinking alcoholic for 15 years and have finally interrupted the cyclical drinking/being hungover compulsion and have been sober for almost a year after intensive therapy.
To say that I don't really pursue wisdom wouldn't even be an insult. It would just mean that you don't know what you're talking about.





Next, "a search for a general understanding of values and reality by chiefly speculative rather than observational means"
Uh, that's like a description of my LIFE.
Note that it says NOTHING about the objective value of the findings in that search, their worth to anyone but the seeker or whether such a search is rendered invalid should it commence within the confines of a coffee house or on message boards.

Finally, "an analysis of the grounds of and concepts expressing fundamental beliefs"
Sorry, bro. I analyze that junk. So, at the very least, your word choice - "aren't philosophical AT ALL", is inaccurate in it's extremity, a perfect reflection of you in your irrational desire to "hurt my feelings" by spewing untrue crap about me.





In closing, I wonder why it is that I can make a sly, subtle little dig at someone with sarcasm, or simply repeating exactly what they're saying and taking it to it's logical end (usually ending in absurdity, damning the poster's argument), and get infractions.......and yet it seems like every single day on the Hype is spent trying to enjoy myself and having to just ignore people calling me "Stupid", "simple", "overrated", "clueless", "a ******", "an ass****", etc.

And there are no consequences.
Huge double standard, OR an indication that for the most part, when I "get in trouble" it's because some child has taken the time to personally complain about me.
