I think the problem with the super hearing effect with them "bulleting" into the ear is they show it too much...

Its really overkill at this point and seeing the inner workings of Clark's ear isn't at all interesting.

thing is, the inner workings of Clark's ear doesn't look that much different than a human's... I'm not a doctor or anything so I don't have the anatomy of the inner ear memorized, but stuff we saw in those shots looked normal.

Why did they show it so much? It was kinda cool the first few times but why keep on showing it?

Good thing they don't show it much anymore.

I think if they had some cool effect it might be okay, as long as they don't over do it. Personally, I'm curious how SV's F/X teams will concieve of superbreath looking like... Even from the inside.

Aw Triplet...I miss the ear-cam. :csad:

SMALLVILLE'S "SNEEZE"

The CW has released a description for "Sneeze," the new episode of Smallville scheduled to air on Thursday, Oct. 5.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Clark (Tom Welling) works hard to clean up the destruction done by Zod and develops what he thinks is his first cold. However, he soon discovers it is a new power - super breath! Lois (Erica Durance) lands a job at The Inquisitor, the local tabloid, and Lana (Kristin Kreuk) moves in with Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), who believes someone is following him, which quickly proves to be true after he is kidnapped."

"Sneeze" was written by Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer and directed by Paul Shapiro.

Question: Can you ask Tom Welling what kind of new powers Clark will have this season?— Danielle

Ausiello: Sadly, Tom Welling flew down the CW's red, er, green carpet faster than a speeding bullet, so I asked Al Gough instead. "He gets super breath. It can blow holes through things. It's basically very powerful, concentrated breath. What happens is, when he comes back from the Phantom Zone and he has no powers, he catches a cold, and the cold manifests itself as super breath." And regarding the show's "no tights, no flights" policy, Gough says he's sticking to it — for now, at least. "Clark won't be flying this season — but never say never. Zod flies a little bit, though."
