I also read the Bone Saw part of that meme in my mind as if it was a Macho Man promo from the '80s.It was a different time. It was okay to say those things.![]()
You're a couple pages late on my calling it one.Rando midday question:

Don't worry @DarthSkywalker hasn't passively aggressively called me out on not naming The Crow alongside it and The Batman.I'm always late to the party.![]()

Okay whoever did Maya's makeup needs to be slapped. Her face is a shade darker than her neck. You're supposed to blend and make it natural.Night 58

About to see how good your taste is.Halloween 2018
I'm watching Kills tonight too but this one gets its own post because it kinda rules. Like, sure it's got the same basic structure as the original but it's also got some sauce to it. Pretty much every character in this movie is interesting. Take this kid for example. He has a relatively small part but he practically steals the show:

And IMO Michael has never been more terrifying than in this movie. He's absolutely brutal here. I don't blame Laurie for extensively preparing for 40 years. But he clearly does have a code. I imagine this was him behind the mask when he walked by the baby in that one house:

I like Kills, it's kind of my The Last Jedi of the Halloween franchise. Overall I would say it's good and there are some genuinely awesome moments in it (the 1978 flashback is just perfection) but there are a couple of story choices that I disagree with. I like it more now than I did when I first watched it.About to see how good your taste is.![]()

It's like Anthony Michael Hall was so jazzed up that Tim Burton cast him as a bully in Edward Scissorhands that he's just leaned into that for the last 35 years.
